I shall not take part in this cyber-bullying. A few more games like that and another assist or two from Paul etc and I've no doubt Blake is a big enough man to concede that he was a good signing after all.

Yeah, me taking the moral high ground. Confusing the shit out of you aren't I? I'm kurazee like that.

Now i am scared after reading that lol.

Not cyber bullying, I have called him out to explain his negativity on a number of threads, which he spams so I have given him a dedicated forum to do so. ;)

yes, i'm here.

this thread only strengthens my criticisms of previous performances as yesterday was completely different, you only have to look at the high number of positive posts/threads to see that. i've never said that we have no hope going forward, just that the performances so far had been very dull to watch, yesterday was a lot better .... a lot of that was down to eriksen, a player i've said all summer should be our #1 target.

Haha. I was messing around. Just trying out my hand at being a decent human being. I didn't like it tbh.

Blake, fair play not looking for a fight, I just wish more people would sit back watch and give the players a little time to gel, and then make up your mind on who isn't good enough.

Peace....

what was i wrong about? before yesterday i said our performances had been dire, i didn't say we'd continue to play that way for the rest of eternity, yesterday was good ... what do you want me to say? a 2-0 win at home to norwich erases everything i've previously said?

If we created threads to call out all each poster who got aggressive and unpleasant when anyone dared suggest Bale was off earlier in the summer then we'd clog up the first three or four pages of Spurs Chat...

Blake's opinions are perfectly valid (whether you agree with them is another matter) and he is entitled to express them on here while he observes the rules, unless I've misunderstood something.

Why call him out like this? It serves no useful purpose - he doesn't owe anyone on here anything.

That applies to all of us, no?

To be fair to Blake, I shared his concerns early in the transfer window, and he was right about lack of creativity in the few 3 games. I was concerned because we were buying all of the midfielders, nothing to do with the ability of them.

But as soon as we got Eriksen I knew/hoped that it would be good, and it is not just good it is fantastic. Also I am over the moon at how far forward Pauline gets. It's all looking very good, and they've not even gelled yet!!

We both agree about Eriksen and both championed his signing throughout the summer. But yesterday's performance was just a more polished version of what has gone before with the added wit of Eriksen.

You were saying "pointless possession" asphyxiating teams to death. I said it's a foundation that will be gilded by the adition of people like Eriksen.

Of course Eriksen was the creative catalyst, but one without the other is pointless, together - ball domination and intelligent end play - are what the best clubs combine.

You and I both agree Eriksen is just what we need, but unlike you I don't believe he deserves all the credit. AVB and the team that asphyxiated Norwich gave Eriksen - and others like Paulinho, Dembele, Soldado, Sigurdsson - the platform to finish them off.

Eriksen was nothing to do with Dembele's clever choice to beat two men, Soldado's clever movement to make himself available in a packed area to Dembele, and Dembele's good choice and execution to find him.

This is what I was talking about when I said this was what was lacking at Arsenal. That the asphyxiating was providing the platform, just the choices and execution need to be better.

We don't need to call out people like this but then again Blake's had it coming to be fair- he's been pretty negative on everything that we've done this summer tbf.
