Would a pulled muscle require 15+minutes of oxygen being administered?

Not sure, just going by what the physio motioned to Poch, Geoff (the physio) pointed at the his knee and scaled down to his ankle to give an idea of the severity of the injury to Winks, he then did a " pulled" muscle motion. To which Poch and Toni smacked the top of their knees in disappointment.

Admittedly havent seen it back other than whats on tv but looked like he kicked the burnley player and damaged his foot/lower leg before he landed. Just seemed a grimace

I thought at first he tore his ACL, as it was largely a non-contact injury. That would pretty much be the worst case scenario for him, as that would mean he probably wouldn't play at all next season, as it takes 12 months to recover. Even then, as we've seen with Falcao, Strootman, and Jay Rodriguez, it can seriously derail your career. So, if it's not a ligament tear and is an ankle injury, it hopefully won't be 6+ month injury.

Best of luck to him on a full recovery. Just a really fluke thing (wild swing of his leg and then the subsequent tumble). It's just so unfortunate given he's obviously an important player for us.

He was taken almost immediately to hospital which is a terrible sign.
Fucking gutted for the kid.

Awful thing to have happened to the kid and fingers crossed he can make a full recovery and be ready for action by the start of next season.

Poch has said it's an ankle injury. But surely a serious ankle injury is a ligament tear by definition?

Well it could be broken, dislocated, ligaments. We don't know. Fingers crossed.

Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed midfielder Harry Winks has been taken to hospital after his serious-looking injury in the first half at Turf Moor.

Winks appeared to catch his ankle while chasing Stephen Ward and he then stumbled into paraphernalia which was placed by the Spurs dugout.

After a long treatment, he was taken away on a stretcher.

I think you'll find it was the Burnley Dugout.

I know it doesn't seem broken, but I read a tweet today, that basically said that Ramsey and Barkley both got broken legs early on in their career which slowed their development. And I thought, hope that doesn't happen to Winks, and he goes and injures himself

With the way medical science on knee injuries has progressed, torn ankle ligaments is currently viewed as the worst injury a footballer can get (of typical football injuries).
