I still reckon the day Arnesen waked through the door was the turning point. Martin Jol became the man, the website changed, European football was mentioned again, heaps of players/characters came to the club and we were desperately unlucky not to reach the CL earlier than we eventually did.

Although there has been stumbles since then - including Arnesen's departure, I think that's when the mood changed and we started to look upwards.

Redknapp played a strong part in the evolution and I'd always thank him for that but the way we ended his last season was appalling and I can't forget that either.

Actually you are right, we went for a specific approach to transfers and players etc so I agree but in terms of success on a pitch it was Harry that started it for me anyways. Although Jol got us very close.

The way we ended his last season wasn't great but you can argue last season we didn't end the season in glory, but there is no vitriol towards Poch.

He's said that he'll only get paid if he keeps them up. The players will love that.
