Point 3, nothing is close at the moment. Makes me think that it is, Harry tells big whopping porky pies when he wants to. Of course he could be telling the truth but I want to believe otherwise, so he's lying.

Listen Taffy, it's a world cup and we always think we can win it, even when we all know we can't.

Now take your free prescriptions, dodgy language and inbred ways out of here and come back when you've qualified for an international tournament.

ps some of my family, very distant, are welsh and I mean the above as a joke, sort of.:grin::grin:

Edit I saw the cwy and thought it was a weird welsh thing, it appears you are a yank, are you a welsh yank and if so are you referred to as a wank?

Redknapp can't resist a bit of bullshit though can he. "when I first arrived here Modric was in and out of the team". The only person that's actually dropped Modric as far as I know is Redknapp at Wigan and Wolves (I think).

This is on par with "it would have scared me to death to sell Bale". It also scared him to death to play him for a year until Ekotto got injured and we had no other options. Up until Redknapp came Ramos had played Bale every game at the start of that season.

Bit misleading. It's clear that Harry intended to start Bale when BAE went to the African Nations- he kept Bale as the other option on the left. Moreover, Bale did not play as he has been when given a game here or a game there- in fact, his form dipped further.

Ramos was usually right, to be fair.

You mean when we and Bale were in shit form? Thats not a good managerial decision.

Assou-Ekotto was in excellent form for Redknapp and Bale had some growing up to do but there was always potential.

No manager worth their salt would've dropped BAE on his current form for Bale who hadn't impressed for a long time.

Bale was in good form until he went to stoke and got sent off. I can remember having the conversation with my mate about how Bale had looked our best player in that opening spell - and that we might loose him. The team struggled for results but performances we easily good enough to merit some in that period. And you don't even have to drop Assou-Ekotto to play Bale do you ?

I assume you accept that the comments re Modric were bullshit though ?
