I know folks are getting all excited about him but he's a kid who has had one good season in the Belgian league. Now if you tell me we are getting him for 30ish and we are going to throw the other 60 mil on a top drawer CB I could get round it because we are looking to improve that starting XI. Looking more likely though that it will be a journey man CB from Torino and a player Barca are desperate to get out because they can't register players if they don't.
Just when I thought I couldn’t get even more depressed. 🙁

Honestly makes me feel physically sick.

Levy never, ever learns. To lose a player of Kane’s level and to only bring in mid range players and opportunistic signings if at all and even then only if we can get rid of current players

Absolutely disgusting.
I don’t class Porro, van de Ven or Maddison as mid range or opportunistic. (Albeit query Porto’s value in Ange’s systems)

Think we have to be slightly careful here of following internal narrative rather than looking at actual facts.

Haha, indeed, he should have squared it to Sterling! 😂 On a serious note, I'm relieved this is finally coming to an end. It's a rather emotional moment though .

The goblin better not sit on the cash he’s got the match under his feet now
We all know how this story ends unfortunately mate.

But totally inevitable under our owners.

We’re slipping further and further away from our rivals but Dear Daniel will be happy with 5th place this season and balancing the books.

Joke club
5th? That would be a good season. We'll be lucky to get top 8th at this rate

What a morale sucker for the rest of the squad on the eve of the new season.
I expect the rest of them to stand up much as they did v City in that first game under Nuno. They should want to show everyone there's life after Harry Kane.

Kulu, Sonny and Richy strike me as having that bull by the horns mentality. Maddison too.

I'm excited for Sunday

On top of that we are only looking at mid range players and opportunistic signings being offered by clubs and agents to come in. but even then we need outs first.
If we haven’t materially improved by the time the window closes it will be totally unacceptable

I’m not talking about the players we’ve already bought, I’m happy with them it’s what looks like happening after Harry leaves.
We desperately need a top class CB at the very least.

Imagine the atmosphere at the Utd game if we lose on Sunday. Ange deserves better, this should have been sorted months ago.

You can say "Levy had no choice" as much as you want but if he handled this competently we would have set a very hard, very early deadline to get this concluded before it derailed our season.

Sad to see him go however it was happening next summer regardless. Hopefully Ange can get the team to emerge and collectively grow in his absence .Don't begrudge Harry anything and we didn't deliver any trophies whilst he was here ; however it was a collective failure .Levy hasn't invested enough to the team ,however whenever we were good enough to get to finals there was a collective footballing failure to deliver silverware. Maybe the right decision to go.

I'll just add to this I don't think we will even do three deals with the money because of the "bloated squad".
We should comfortably be able to do these deals without selling Kane - look what Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea are doing.

We’re royally getting the piss taken out of us by our owners and it’s sickening.

I feel really sorry for Ange as I think he could be a special manager but once again he’s going to be hamstrung by our board of clowns

Well, it's an odd move by Kane.(Not on first name terms anymore). I doubt he will enhance his legacy with this move. There are plenty average players with league winners medals and Champions league winners medals. There is only one Premier league all time scoring record. As I say odd move.

Liverpool have rebuilt their squad over the last year whilst we pick up the odd players with no strategy.

We need to get these owners out. We need to ramp up the vitriol. It will not get batter with them.

Given the money isn’t even in our account yet and the deal hasn’t been completed I think getting annoyed about signing the sort of players you suggest (when recent signings semi-refute it) is a little premature. I get the frustration at Kane being sold but there is a need to detect whether things being said by ITKs are opinion or not.
