Haha, indeed, he should have squared it to Sterling! šŸ˜‚ On a serious note, I'm relieved this is finally coming to an end. It's a rather emotional moment though .

The goblin better not sit on the cash heā€™s got the match under his feet now

Good luck to Harry.

But make no mistake, this move absolutely symbolises and exposes ENIC and Levy's failure to really demonstrate ambition as a football Club.

They can hide behind whatever they want, but not doing more, much more, to utilise this once in a generation striker (one of our own) is an absolute sin.

Shame on you Levy, this is why we're here.

Everyone knows we've no ambition to win, only to deal.

To dare is to deal.

Still can't make any sense of this move.

-He had better options next season.
-Stepping away from PL goal record.
-Dont see leaving the PL as good for his profile in the US, which he seems super keen about.
-I doubt his wife and kids are too chuffed moving to Germany.
-leaving some top golf courses behind.

So weird. Makes it even harder to take. Feel like he's been guilted into it almost.

Lots of people saying they hope HK finally gets everything he deserves with this move, and it got me thinking about what that actually means - so I made a list of what those things are that he deserves:

2:
3:
4:
5:
6:

He can stay here another year, potentially break records, and we might exceed expectations leading to a bumper new contract and Champions League football again, and even if we don't he looks to pocket several million and the pick of practically whichever club he wants.

I don't see how he loses more than a few hundred thousand even if he sees out this current contract, but he could stand to make millions.

Just how I see it, ultimately it's up to him.

The ā€œGoblinā€ can rot for all I care as heā€™s to blame for the last 3 years of sh*t and thatā€™s why Harry is leaving!

Itā€™s not ā€˜on themā€™. We would have been left with a unhappy player, speculation throughout the season about who he was gonna join when his contract finishes next summer, all while Ange is trying to build something - hardly a great recipe for a good season.

These big deals just arenā€™t that simple. For example Brighton - who everyone keeps lauding as he best run club in the league - are having the exact same issues with Caciedo as weā€™ve had with Kane - clubs trying to lowball them and itā€™s threatening to disrupt their season prep.

Harry would obviously have been informed of said deadline, and if it didnā€™t materialize isnā€™t it indeed on them to have failed to pay up what is asked in a certain timeframe? Im no expert on football transfers, so im happy to say im wrong if thats the case.

I can agree with the notion that it might be demoralizing for the rest of the squad and the overall morale knowing that the main star player at the club wants to leave, but at the same time; kane is a true professional. once he starts banging in goals and help the team win i think the players will just get on with it.

Absolutely fumingšŸ˜”

I named my horse Kane in RDR2 and I donā€™t think I can re-name him.

Now Iā€™m gonna have to shoot it in the head.
Bloody Daniel got a lot to answer for-I loved that horse.
I learnt the hard way not to name any human/animal after a player since I named my first 4 kids after Sol Campbell. My youngest kid ā€˜Wankpuffinā€™ hasnā€™t forgiven me yet but Shit****, Arsewipe and Fucking Traitor Prick all seem to be ok with it.

Wait what heā€™s off again?

Been out all day and itā€™s like this thread is the upside down. Last week I read the post from Hercules saying ā€œbye byeā€ and the next time I read he then wasnā€™t deffo off, the last time I popped in it was Hercules saying itā€™s looking more likely heā€™s now staying.. go out for the day log on and now heā€™s off again?

This is the most ridiculous transfer ever.

Iā€™ll get some sleep and maybe by the time I look in the morning heā€™ll have signed a new contract. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø or heā€™ll be our new owner at this bloody rate.

Meanwhile, Liverpool just bid 100m for Caicedo having spent 100m already on Szozbolai and MacAllister to completely revamp their midfield, whilst we need to sell our best player to bring in another decent defender.
