Probably nothing to do with his contract. As things stand, £100m for a 30yr old is great for Spurs, Bayern also happy as they are getting a player they would not normally have a chance of getting even though they'vebhad to shell out majot dough. The person losing out is Kane as there is no way Bayern would be able to offer the sort of package he would get in a year's time. Won't be surprised if his people have turned round to Levy and said we want 40% of the fee to compensate for the loss of free agency in a year otherwise no dealIt’s his own fucking deadline that he seems now not to be meeting. All very odd.
don’t buy the “loyalty bonus” issue.
If there’s an additional payment due to HK under his contract which becomes payable soon but which he won’t get if he signs for BM in the next few days then this surely can’t be something that has only cropped up today.
