Got a bad feeling now. It's all going quiet
Quite the opposite. The silence has been replaced by stories completely dismissing a ‘decision’ and instead focusing on minor details which always get ironed out. Sounds a matter of time.

Can't see it. Levy would want much more money from a PL club and there would be another week or two of negotiations which Harry clearly doesn't want.

If he's going to a club other than Bayern I very very much doubt it will happen this window.
The PL club levy was fine when he has 3 years on his contract. He’ll be worth next to nothing in January. I can’t see Levy allowing the business to take that type of hit.
Nothing about Levy has done before lead me to think he’ll take a chance on it working out this season if he lets his contract run down.

No-one will be 'celebrating' just knowing that we'd be getting £100mil now rather than £0 and he leaves to a PL rival next summer.

We all want him to stay but if he is 100% going to leave on a free next summer to strengthen a PL rival then certainly not the worst outcome if we sell him now to Bayern for £100mil.

If anyone is celebrating as a Spurs fan it will be the fact the whole saga is finally over and we as fans and Ange can all fully focus on the season ahead, no-one will be celebrating that we've just sold our greatest ever goalscorer.
exactly this :)

What's everyone's gut feeling?

Think he will go personally. Just don't see how it gets this far without being what Kane wants. Also think if it was too late it would have been shut down completely.

With the whispers around Richarlison you would have to assume we would push for a replacement pretty quickly.

Same as Berba. Same as Modric. Same as Bale.

I remember clinging to every delay or positive rumor, but in the end, Levy's going to take the money.

And for those left paying the highest ticket prices in the England, we get Frazier Campebll and Roberto Soldado.

My gut feeling is that it’s a sad situation involving one of the best players i’ve ever seen play for the club. My dad followed Spurs in the 60’s he saw success, I followed them from the early 80’s, was born into this club because of dad. just wish we could be successful and it’s sad to see a player like Kane go if he does.

Right now my gut is leaning more towards him staying. Just feels deeply odd that the deal hasnt been sealed after the fee was agreed and think something is afoot.
I don't think it's that odd. This deal will have a huge PR angle from every side - Kane, Spurs and Bayern - and each party will need to plan accordingly. We also may want to secure targets we had lined up.

Quite apart from the transfer fee and agreement itself, there are a metric fuckton of other elements in a deal like this for a global superstar footballer.

And Grzegorz Rasiak.

Reckon it'll get completed. Please god it's announced later.

Absolutely ridiculous this is being played out right before our season starts.

So all the bs today was about Charlie’s agents fees.

Damaged his brothers reputation on his last day as a Spurs player throwing around PL moves and forcing a Bosman.

All to line his own pocket.

Sounds line Bayern are now picking up the tab.

Yeah absolutely - deals are complicated.

But a summer long blockbuster transfer saga finally sealed only for the man at the heart of it to allegedly get cold feet. That's very odd and practically unheard of (if it's true).

If we're playing for time to secure deals this isn't the story we'd use.

Maybe all those years of seeing Levy operate have rubbed off on Harry and Charlie.

If Harry wants to squeeze out a little bit more out if his new Contract or a bit more commission for Charlie, then shifting the goal posts slightly at the 11th hour is the way to do it. Maybe. Who knows.

Yeah. He’s off. He should just come out and say that he doesn’t want to be at Spurs anymore so we can get to grips with trying to stop idolising him or thinking he loves the club as much as we do.
