The club is no longer willing to remain uncertain about Harry's intentions. While he initially set the pace, the club has since caught up, and Harry now appears hesitant about that potential move. Spurs' willingness to keep him hinges on a commitment, which Levy is now pushing for. While this doesn't necessarily imply an impending new deal, the club is keen to avoid a protracted saga and prevent Harry from gaining leverage after the transfer window closes.

WLB x

I think this is the right approach personally. We need some kind of commitment from him. It's not good for anyone to have a whole season of uncertainty again.

From a Bayern Munich forum:

What a pussy mentality, Jesus Christ.

This is the type of attitude why English/ the Anglo-Saxon fail outside of England . Anglo Saxons only understand their own culture can’t live outside it. Look at bale and Madrid. Who the hell fails integrating at Madrid lol… We should have gone for the killer Serb instead

I'm tired.

If this is actually true he’s a complete idiot. Him agreeing with Bayern on personal terms was the reason why this saga exists and has been going on for 2 months. Pulling off something like this at the last minute when one party has wasted resources on getting a deal done for so long is objectively such a shitty move.

There is a massive PR campaign going on to stay in PL; media former players are all in

THEY can't handle it ... how come he is going to play in nazi farmer league!!!!!??!??!?!

If really, after all this weeks spent on this transfer there is a situation right now where Kane is deciding on this on a sort of 50-50% basis whether to come or stay than we will have the worst 100 M EUR spent for a football player in history.

I ALWAYS doubted his ambition and I am still very afraid he might actually decides to stay…Crazy stuff

What a pussy mentality, Jesus Christ.

Some sore people on there. Especially the one about Bale who won what 4 CL's. Also, till very recently, all our media were trying to sell him to Utd.

This is all on Bayern. They tried to negotiate with Levy who only does this with incomings. Thought they could bully us into accepting a lower offer. No doubt this transfer would've been done if they agreed to the demands a few weeks ago.

Anyone who thinks that the likes of Pep, Ten Hag, Klopp and Poch aren't licking their lips at the thought of this deal falling through are quite naive in my opinion.

Think we've lost golden opportunity to get him out of the league, and get £100m for our troubles.

This time last year Kane had already packed up his house and was on the brink of joining City. Obviously the deal fell through but he still lost his house and had to find another property. It’s safe to say he hasn’t done the same this year.
Wasn’t it two years ago?

Last summer he was out on pitch throwing up with his team mates after Conte murdered them all with super hard pre-season training lol.

Off-topic but this is the best thread to ask in. Anyone notice any server issues? Today's been our busiest day of the window so far and I was expecting a few issues but things seem to have been fine on my end.
No problems at all surprisingly!

Oh really wow didn’t know that see these are the insights that people don’t know about as to why these decisions are no where near as simple as some of us fans think.

Some footballers who just don’t care about anything or don’t think sure they’d just go for it when money is waved in their face but Harry is first and foremost a family man so this is an absolute huge decision with so many factors involved.

The ups and downs of this saga have even like nothing else I can ever remember however.

You hate fir sake of it, you don’t have no evidence what so ever yet your hate is way over the top. Besides what a horrible word is hate
Nobody has any evidence for anything other than a few ITKs - everything is speculation and opinion, because this is a football chat site, rather than legal testimony given under oath..

I haven't noticed any server issues for ages now, maybe years?
Runs like a dream these days. 👍

Would a buyout clause of say 40-50m not also keep his options open? I'd be stunned if the rest of the top clubs in the PL, Madrid, Barca, PSG, Bayern etc. were not willing to pay that kind of price for him in a year. He'd still be in control of his future.
It would need to be nearer 20m and the increase in wages Kane receives this year would need to be worth about 20m as well so if he does move on and the buying club reduce his package by 20m to take account of the buy out they have had to pay then he is not out of pocket.

He’ll end up going. Don’t do it to yourselves guys. I’m as pissed off with it all as the rest of you but the transfer won’t fall over now. It’s all too far gone.

What would be kind of funny is after all this, if Kane stays due to another gentleman's agreement. Except this time it's for the club and not him. Something like, I'll commit if I see progress and we sign a couple more players this month to get us competing.

Optimistic I know, but clutching at straws here. Would be absolutely devastated if he goes now, I know that's naive but it's just the truth.

Please stay Harry.

I have to think tonight is the real deadline.

Tomorrow the squad will be in full preparation mode for Brentford. Kane will either be in the first team, or out of the squad.
