Maybe we haven’t heard anything yet because the shock of DL actually accepting an offer has brought Kate on early!

Anyone who has kids will know pregnant women often say one thing and mean the complete opposite when push comes to shove. This now is a case of waiting to see what he decides. The bullshit flying around right now is off the charts so there is no point in updating anything until it's certain.

This isn't exclusive to women who are pregnant

Would be outrageous to go through all this, holding the entire summer hostage to then decide he doesn't want to go.
It would be crazy, but deep down, would we be surprised? just add it to the long list alongside losing to a team with a manager in prison, and beefing with the Dulux dog

We've accepted a fee, so that means we want to sell him at that price no?

If we wanted to keep him then we would just reject the offer? I imagine the club are now terrified of him leaving on a free next year.
I'm not saying its right that we'd try and convince him to leave, but just that that's probably the case imo.

Especially with reports during the week that he was happy to stay. There is no sugar coating it. The club wants Bayern's money.

If I was Kane, and it was this late in the day, I would just wait one more season and pick my club. Yeah it screws Spurs over but for him it’s the most sensible option.

Surely Bayern wouldn’t go to all this trouble and Tottenham/Levy entertaining talks all this time for the deal to fall through once it’s been agreed.
Makes no sense whatsoever.

This is done from here surely.

But he will potentially have similar issues if he moves to Manchester. Ok, it's only a few hours drive, but Munich is only a few hours away too. Not to mention he can afford to bring family with him and give them all jobs.
Harder now, post Brexit, in terms of bringing the family over where before the rights were automatic. I've lost the rights to bring my mum over, for instance, in the new shape of Europe. But we're veering fairly off topic. It's just a really big decision with young kids... for a certain kind of person.

People overrate the PL scoring record. What happens if he gets that? A few nice twitter posts congratulating him? Also, someone can take it away from him in the future.

Winning trophies comes with medals, team celebrations, bus tour in front of the fans, permanent record in the history books, probably a win bonus of some sort.

Players are always going to pick the later.

Its a record Sky have plugged relentlessly because they invested in the Premier league brand from the start, and its given them hours of material even though the actual top scorer record is miles away.

Repeating myself but we dont see all previous European cups erased because they werent champions leagues, and if we ever get a european super league nobody will care about a prem record.

I would think he is having the thoughts anyone has when changing jobs. Gets lost because few of us will ever be I'm a spot where the money is what it is for a footballler.

Ever been at a job for a period of time? Pay is pretty good. Solid benefits, you like the co-workers, commute is good. But after a bit it gets to you, all the little shit (or not so little shit) gets to you. You start looking around a bit.

Then you find a new gig. Great company, great pay, great benefits. They make you a great offer....and LOTS of people freeze....Well the commute sucks, I don't know the co-workers, none of my built up reputation matters.

Suddenly you are having second thoughts. The grass isn't always greener, the devil you know etc.

I think that is where Harry is at the moment.

I get it.

I still can't get my head around Schmeichel saying there is a danger Kane gets no offers when he is out of contract next year.

Kane is still 3rd favourite to be PL top scorer next year despite being 5/2 to even be playing in the PL.

It's funny that Bayern fans kept saying that they would get him for free next year, no way in hell after this
