This would all be fine if it happened a week ago. We're now 1 day before the start of the season! Teams will no2 hold us to ransom knowing we have £100m in bank and need to make a signing. Unless all our ducks are aligned and signed, which I highly doubt. Our season will start very negatively. The stadium next week will be toxic!

We must surely have incomings lined up. The suggestion was that we needed to move on them soon so their selling clubs could themselves find replacements. Let's just hope project Kane moves quickly.

I think people are exaggerating about the first game though. Brentford just lost their keeper and they are more than beatable without Kane. Also our 2nd string just played better than any of our 2nd string for many years against Barca. Whatever happens I'm just looking forward to this new era and going to support the lads on Sunday.
