Maybe he's just a lot more enthused about staying here now.
I guess I’m just a little surprised by that as theirs been a few false dawns recently. By all accounts he seemed pretty positive when we brought in Jose and Conte, I guess I’d be surprised if he was willing to stay based on a month of pre season. I’m not complaining obv and if that’s the case then fantastic.

If we want Kane to sign an extension the club have got to show ambition on their part

I see we are linked with Lenglet again..3 year deal

How is signings like this going to convince him to extend?

I know this is a controversial opinion, but I don't care where he goes if he see's his contract out, because if it's in the PL it will only be Man Utd or City. He's never in a million years going to Chelsea or Arsenal.

Do I want him going to another PL team next year? Nope.

But do I want a prime Kane for another year under our new attack minded manager? Hell yeah.

£100m is just money at the end of day and £100m to me personally isn't worth not seeing the best striker in the world play for us for another full season.

I'd personally would have loved another full season of prime Bale than sold him when we did.

If you lot want entertainment then you don't sell the best striker in the world.
Absolutely. It’s not our money.

I’ve been told tonight, the Harry Kane to Bayern deal is on the brink of collapsing. Bayern's scrambling to save it, but trust in Camp Kane is fading fast. Bayern had agreed on a fee verbally, but the payment terms didn't sit well with Levy. This misstep set Bayern back significantly in the negotiations.

Discussions will continue, with Daniel stepping back and agent Pini taking over again as his ear piece but Daniel won't step in now unless it’s required.

I must stress time is running out for every party in the deal and it’s gonna need a big swing from Bayern now to get this done.

Spurs had initiated 'Project Kane,' but it appears atm that this contingency is currently on pause due to the above 👆

which is causing its own issues .

WLB X.

I’m hoping this isn’t going to affect the second cb, we so desperately need.

I am one of those nervy guys who doesn’t allow myself to celebrate fully until the final whistle even if 3-0 up. Suspect I am not alone - this is a THFC forum after all.

Heartened by this news but but but…….3 weeks till 31 August

Great a whole season of “where is Kane going at the end of his contract” speculation before, during and after each match. Sure Ange will love that 😑

I know.

But if we do well Kane might just sign again.

Thats got to be the hope so let's not jump to the most negative conclusion

I think it's a little too late for Kane to make the move now. Especially with his wife soon to deliver, any movement to another place and stay for a long period takes more than just moving physically.

TBH, I really see him more ready to stay this season compared to when he made the failed move to Citeh, seeing how attacking we are now under Big Ange.

Come on lads worry about next season next bloody season.
This is brilliant news. We retain our truly world class player for another season and let's see where that takes us.
Ange is the perfect man to shoot down questions on Kane in press conferences and we all know Kane ain't going to say much on it so press won't have too much to write about.

What I am looking forward to is Bayern PR machine trying to spin this, bet they are better than Donna "we never wanted Nagelsmann anyway" Cullen

I agree with the sentiment, and I intend to enjoy the season as soon as it kicks off. But we've been here so many times as Spurs fans. We've experienced so many false dawns.

We've been aboard the Ramos train, the AVB train, the Mourinho train, the Conte train. We've seen the same story so many times. A great, exciting start under a new manager who promises to usher in a new era of success at the club before the wheels quickly fall off in the second season.

Hopefully, things will be different under Ange, but losing Kane on a free after one season will complicate things, to put it mildly.

It’s not over until the summer, it’ll all start again in January if he hasn’t signed a new deal. Clubs might be tempted to get him then before he’s on a free and he can also play in CL knockout games. Mid season speculation over your best player isn’t exactly going to be helpful.

Another year of the best all-round striker on the planet, in an attacking team, playing a modern system, with an improved midfield and (hopefully) defence.

So excited for the season ahead if true!

Yeah same here, the media will be relentless linking him to Prem rivals all season now, its what they'll do, Ange will be getting tortured after every press conference about it until he either commits or is off elsewhere, not ideal.
This is the reason I don't watch pre or post match analysis anymore because it's always just Kane talk. The media don't want him at spurs so this season will be relentless.
