Appreciate nothing is guaranteed but if you didn't come on SC and read the ITK you'd be pretty sure weren't selling any time soon.

Playing in pre season, posting positive stuff like this on socials and media saying levy is not selling him (for the most part).

Strange one and very hard to read.
Isn't it? On the face of it, Harry has no need for smoke and mirrors and doesn't need to get involved. Bayern (we're told) have made an acceptable bid and supposedly it's with Kane's camp. He must know the general mood with the fans is that we think he's decided to leave, and unless there's some massive conspiracy to keep this under wraps that involves Spurs, Bayern and Kane, why is he posting stuff that gives the impression he's still building up for the season ahead with us?

Surely you'd either keep quiet, or just say something about how today's support was great and well done to the lads on a good result?

Dunno. 🤷‍♂️

Last night: He's definitely going, won't be involved. But, if he starts and plays tomorrow then he's clearly staying.

Today: Starting, playing, captaining.

Yeah that means he's leaving.

Really?

I disagree. I do not believe attacking football will be enough. Harry is at his peak and at the very least he’ll want to play CL every season. He’s the best striker of his generation. It’s just the natural order of things for him to want to compete for the highest honours.

Speaks volumes to me he's still here after a period when even the most hardcore fans were reconsidering supporting Tottenham.

Maybe Richarlison taking a knock is a blessing in disguise and could be worse than initially expected. So may affect this whole Kane transfer. However its just a wild assumption only.

Exactly what I expected. Great support today or something on that track.

The fans love and respect him.
The players love and respect him.
He will score loads in Ange's system.
Put a contract in front of him tomorrow morning with a break clause when he breaks Shearer's record
I'm sure he will sign it.

I am fine either way. I'd like some clarity, but it will happen when it happens.

I do think Kane would be happy to stay, and he would be happy to go to Bayern. Its really a function of Spurs and Bayern either agreeing on a fee, or not.

Levy can't win here. If he sells him then it'll piss off many (me included), but if he doesn't and Harold swans off to a PL rival next season for £0 then he'll get pelters also.

For me, I'd do whatever Ange wants - stick or twist depending on what he says.

I realize I can be a bit of an odd duck here - and I think the smart move is to sell Kane (or find more financing). But, if he stays, I won'f be fussed if he leaves on a free next summer. Its a gamble, and sometimes those pay off, and sometimes they don't.

The true: "TO dare is to do" is to hold on to him, chase glory this season, and then let next season be decided next summer.

(I am worried we don't have the money to hold him, and get the players in we need in the back - but if Levy can take that risk, I am happy to run with it)

Yes of course he will. But I think he could mitigate the abuse of the latter option with some careful PR.

“yes we could have accepted 100m but I have listened to the fans who overwhelmingly wanted to keep Harry. I want to support Ange in his first season by giving him the services of a world class striker and I want us to be as good as we can be this year so I have put football before money even though we risk losing him for free next summer”

I think he does that after every home game tbf

Yeah it didn’t feel any different to how Kane thanks fans after games win, lose or draw.

The 4 goals today basically is a pay up or shut up to Bayern Munich. Squabbling over £15m-£20m when you have a free run at signing him is crazy. Next year, as a free agent, I very much doubt he goes to Munich. It’s now it never for them.

ENIC and Levy could always help themselves by communicating with fans, but they rarely do. I'm not a fanatical Levy out person, but he really doesn't help himself sometimes.

I'm more positive about losing H now and to Bayern than when we were almost solely reliant on him under Conte, but for me - I'd keep him and take a punt.
