I would take him back, the talent and experience would be excellent around the squad especially if we move in a younger direction.
Would also love to have him as a forward coach if that's the direction he chooses instead of going to the NFL. I think the thing I'll miss most is having someone that really feels how important scoring and winning in a NLD is.

IF Levy has gone on holiday, it's probably to avoid all the anger that's going to be directed to him once the Kane news is released. I'd get out of the country too!

We're days away from that I 'd say mate. Reckon we keep it all under wraps as much as possible to allow time to try and get replacements in before announcing it
For all the speculation, I have supported us for long enough to know it ain't over until Levy stands on a step ladder towering over every one of his finance people shouting "Who's the Daddy?" Has that happened yet?

Hilarious if that's true.
It's not though. I think even if he hasn't officially responded to the bid, he will and in a short delay to irritate rather than antagonise to the point of damage.
We might need to deal with Bayern and we need a salvageable relationship

People thinking he will come back to the prem and beat Shearer's record are living in fantasy world.
But I have a couple of questions,
1) How do I change my grandson's name from Kane ( he is coming up to six)
2) who's going to paint over kanes murual opposite the ground?

As incredible a player as Kane is, and has been for us, I'm glad & excited (with an unhealthy dose of nail-biting) to have a fresh start without the Sword of Damacles that has been the past 2-3 years of speculation hanging over the club. New manager, new philosophy, new core to the team - let's get properly behind them and let's fucking go!

Yes, it might be painful next season, but we are starting to look like we have a proper squad now, assuming a couple more defensive additions and a quality bit of competition for Richy. I also think it's positive that we don't need to be so utterly dependent on the teat of a single player anymore. And I believe the ideal time for Kane to depart is with an incoming manager who can really focus on rebuilding around the tenets that this club's fans have always held most dearly to their hearts.

Of course, that's if all this is actually happening. If not, then I love you Harry, and I have instead convinced myself that you won't leave next year on a free to United and that you're the ideal player for an Ange team!

Just guessing but I imagine that Levy will be accepting the bud but the club is getting other bits sorted so as not to whack up the price even further with ins. Hence why ITK suggesting that we are getting ducks in a row and it will get done. The figure has been reached so it’s a case of the sign off. Just my rudimentary guess/piecing together on what we have read.

This not made it in?

Am I the only one that feels this is still completely undecided?

Critical point of the window, the season starts in one week, our world class striker with one foot out the door… nah let’s go on holiday 🎉 .

Somehow I just can’t quite believe it.

I say, good riddance, the free loading bastard. Always dragging us down to his level. I can’t believe he’s done this, signing with Sketchers is just something I can’t look up to. He’s down there with Redknapp now.
Plus, him wearing #10 for us always made me angry. Now we have a real #10 in Maddison, and a real #9 in Richarlison, the team instantly looks better. Only issue now is Biss wearing 8, but playing as the 6. And obv the keeper.

I'm clinging to the hope that none of the press have gone with 'it's done' yet....ours or the Germans (unless ive missed something?)
Im mentally prepared for it, it feels inevitable, but that's when i'll accept it's done.

Bild going with the Levy on Holiday bit now:

I love the idea of it, but I don't see it. Not with so much still to do and us without a DoF.

If it is true though, that's both horrifying and absolutely hilarious.

I really doubt this time Levy will let it hang over the beginning of the season with all parties imposing a deadline and Ange making it clear he wants it resolved ASAP. WLB has already said we are negotiating Kane’s exit and looking at replacements. I think it will all be confirmed next week.
