Ive got a feeling he is staying, I just think he will want to stay and ride out this bullshit phase and be at the head of our resurgence.

Masons comment on "can you imgine spurs without Harry Kane" Was to me very telling how the situation likely will end up... :(
All i know is that in 20-30 years time the club will be here, insted of talking about how Harry loves the club and so on, like he has done in almost every intreview.

Only want him to stay if he signs a new contract. Tired of the will he won't he, constant stories about whether he's staying and speculation about who he should go to that we've had for the last couple of seasons.

We should sell him because it allows us to dictate where he goes.

Really think this is wishful thinking. Kane will go to whichever he believes is the best opportunity is available to him. He is absolutely in the position to dictate his next move, not Spurs.

With just 12 months left on his contract, Spurs have little to dictate. If they try to push him in a direction he doesn’t prefer, he can simply decline and take the more profitable route in 12 months time going direct to his preference, with an even bigger signing bonus to boot as that club will be able to pass-on the savings from not forking out a transfer fee.

No way can he sign a new contract. I just can't see what we could possibly do to make him want too. 1 more season for us to steady the ship with him as captain. Then he will leave and win titles that he deserves.

Someone who doesn't want to be here and is seeing out his contract should definitely not be club captain.

And that's before you factor in that the all or nothing documentary didn't really suggest he was up to the task in the first place.

Hope Harry is open minded enough to hear out our next manager and that that manager's tactics and charm is convincing.
Trouble is so many false promises. He signed his last contract based on the belief that once we have the new stadium we would push on.

Brought into Mourinho turning us into winners and has given his best this season under Conte.

But some things don't change and he is a world class player propping up a very average squad with a Chairman who has shown he is not prepared to invest to the level that is needed to make us challenge again for trophies.

The sad truth is we have gone backwards and Kane deserves to spend his final years challenging for the top trophies.

I cant imagine how demoralising it must be to score a cracking goal like today and once again see the players behind you gifting the game away.

I believe Harry will listen to the new manager but i wouldnt be surprised if his mind is made up already as he heard it all before.

The only question i can see realistically is whether we cash in on Kane or keep him one more year and watch him leave on a free.

Nope, time to bite the bullet with Kane. We need the money for the rebuild and yes, we could buy smart very good enthusiastic pressing players with that money. The missing Kane goals will come from our new, extreme, effective Press, examples of which we see weekly as we concede again and again from effective opposition presses.

So we’ve got a new DOF and new manager coming in this summer and you all want the Kane saga to hound us the whole season. Potentially disrupting any chance the guys have of building a team. Especially without Euro money in this season, rather have the 80m and give the DOF and manage time and money to sort this mess out.
Well if you watch us play you realise without Kane we’re absolutely fucked and so we have to hold onto him for as long as we possibly can!

We should make passion merchant Eric Dier captian. He wants to stay here till the end of his professional football career.

Any clues how he was at end of game? If certain he was leaving I think it would have been obvious. Hopefully we can get him to sign a contract with a low buyout clause as some type of compromise. Wishful thinking, I know

I agree with you on that but again I ask will the new guy want that and the whole circus that goes with it a clean slate with a forward he can rely on for more than one season.

I was watching him and didn't see anything in his manner to say anything either way. He did the lap of appreciation with his wife and children and waved to everyone.

I think if he is still contractually bound then it’s easier for a solution good for all parties to occur. But yes we can’t play hardball and I think neither would him.

I doubt he would go to Chelsea. That club destroys strikers and Poch is unlikely to change that in a short space of time.

We keep going round and round in circles. It will either be Man U this summer, Man U next summer or he stays

He isn't going abroad. He isn't going to Chelsea
