If I was levy I’d say to Kane here’s a huge new contract or you can go on a free next summer.

I wouldn’t be selling for a knocked down price this summer.

We need a Gk, 2 CBs & a AM this summer we can’t afford to try and add a world class striker to that mix

I completely see what you're saying on Kane, but...I don't believe Levy will adequately come close to replacing 50% of his production without the sell on money he would fetch.

We have become a one man team. The manager dare not leave him out. If he doesn’t perform then the rest of the team don’t. He has to take free kicks even though he is crap, we know it and he should by now.
for the first time ever I think he should leave and we should start again.
Man Utd are quite happy to pay stupid money for a player they want. Every chance of 100m plus.
a lot of people will not like this view but I think it’s time to rehash this team.
no way will he go abroad, he wants that record.
It's got that AVB season about it with dull football but one world class player (Kane/Bale) dragging (or towing) us along.

I doubt we'll do that even if we sold him for £100M. The best we can hope for is that we become a more effective team unit once he's gone. It's not a great example after yesterdays result, but United brought in Weghorst on loan and he's helped to transform their attack.

Levy probably think he’s already gotten the replacement in richarlison, fans should be happy enough with Brazil’s no 9. What ever money we get will be reinvested back into the club (probably as in tangible assets).

Jokes a side, yes I have no confidence in the club to adequately replace Kane, it took us 4 years to find 1 good CB, I can’t bare to think how long it’s going to takes us finding someone who’s going to remotely come close to Kane’s numbers.

We’re most certainly not going to break the British transfer record to bring in a player anywhere near the level of H

As you said, we’ve brought Richi to replace Kane just as we bought Bent to replace Berbatov. That’s just how Danny boy rolls!

Make it stop, please make it stop. The nightmare relived!

Whilst we're adding to the list...

Zokora as the Carrick replacement was equally as mortifying.

I feel like he's more valuable to us than he would be for anyone else. United is the obvious one but it's still a risk to sign a 30 year old who's changing club for the first time in his adult life, and Casemiro aside Ten Hag's largely gone with players he knows.

Either way, we can't replace him like-for-like because there's no one like him. It would require a succession plan, not a plaster - we went through this with Bale.

What do people think he's worth? I reckon no more than £80m given his age an contract situation.
I think Jesus at Arsenal is the most expensive player to have signed with only one year left on the contract and he costs them £45m.

For realistic targets, I'd go for Muani.

I love Muani but we’re not getting him for any kind of reasonable price. There’s talks of £100+ million and he has a long contract so I can’t see it happening myself which is a shame.
