Gary Neville is making a right cock of himself over Kane.

First he does that interview now saying Man U should buy him, what a bellend.

I used to think he was okay but he’s really gone down in my estimation.

I hope I don’t sound disingenuous Denver Spur but I have never liked Gary Neville as a player or a so called pundit on Speculation Sports.

He's also spoken very positively about Liverpool in the past. To his credit, he seems like somebody who actually favours proper clubs with a bit of heritage and history rather than somebody who just wants to rack up trophies at the PR front for a repressive oil state.
He literally plays for PSG lol

Think people are being a little too precious about Gary Neville saying United should buy Kane. I doubt the powers that be at United are sat watching MNF waiting for Neville to pipe up about who they should buy.

Kane is the best striker in the world, if they thought they could get him they’d be bidding for him like City have been.

And he wants to leave, as of today refusing to sign a new contract.

Entirely possible he chose to go there at a young and impressionable age but has since wanted out.

We don't know if that's the case but him signing for PSG during puberty doesn't necessarily typecast him for the rest of his career.

it's not just this, he's become such a hypocritical wanker. it's more of a general comment, or at least mine is.

He’s always had a blind spot where it comes to United. He’s no different to any of the other pundits who are all biased towards the club their most associated with.

He'll probably regret how much of it he wasted as a younger lad, though. Took him a while to get his mind in gear.
Not sure what you mean with wasted career as a younger lad? He has been banging in the goals since he started his career just with a slightly lower output in his couple of years at Juve.

"Are Man City going to come in for one last push for Kane? I don't think that's going to happen. If I was a betting man, I'd say he stays." - David Ornstein

Kane must be absolutely screwing that his and Charlie's 'cunning' plan to get out of spurs has been scuppered by their own incompetence, and the fact Man City just don't seem to value Kane as much as Levy does. Either way I hope this means Kane is more determined than ever to deliver success to spurs and get us back into the champions league.

(I do still think Man City will come in with a last minute mega-bid to test Levy's resolve though...)

I would assume you've not read his book or watched interviews, but prior to his move to Inter he was the epitome of the 'talent without effort'. He realised, through Raiola, that he had to work hard to extract every drop of talent, and shouldn't waste it by coasting and just being 'good'.

I think it was Raiola saying something like "Why would any of the best teams want you if you don't even want it yourself?"

All well and good saying this, yet they've absolutely hammered every bit of ITK our side this summer calling them every name under the sun.
That doesn't mean that we should stoop to their level.
I don't expect any class from their fanbase, I have higher expectations for ours.

*yes, I know I'm a mug! ?

If Levy has turned Man City down two or three times, they may not have the confidence that it will happen. If the board is truly mixed on bringing him in, i just can't see them putting all their eggs in one basket and will be looking at alternates. You would have to imagine that contingency plans started a few weeks back.

Been wondering for a while...why is there no betting on HK transfer? Not with Sky or Ladbrokes anyway.
