They don't because no one wants to question how far we are intwined with countries who are essentially bigots.

I've had this discussion with City fans. Their argument is usually that I'm jealous.

Frankly, it's absurd. I've been going to spurs for over 23 years. I've seen quite a lot of dross.

Yes, I'd love us to win things, but not at an unethical cost. If the Saudis bought us, I'd sadly have to give up.

All the City fans I know say it’s not their fault the Sheikh bought the club, which is fair, but it is their fault that they continue to support it. It’s not like their previous owner was a saint either.

Like you say, I think I’d pack it in if someone like them bought Spurs.

Hes lucky the first game is at ours and not the other way round. He'll avoid all the vitriol and by the time next season rolls around it'll probably have settled down. Bastard.

I don’t understand the Charlie digs. Yes he’s a bit of a tool but he is Harry’s agent and he has achieved a great move for him. It’s his job.

Your rage should be squarely in Harry who has played tricks, acted unprofessionally and then lied to all of us.

You are just like Sol
You are just like Sol
Harry Cambell
You are just like Sol
Nothing like Judas sorry.

I can’t lie seeing him in a City shirt will gut me and piss me off in equal measure but it’s nothing like him who shall not be named.

Not wanting to de-rail, for me post Kane’s behaviour.
Players who got me off my seat.

1.Gazza
2.Hoddle
3.Klinsmann
4.Bale
5.Ginola
6.Modric
7.Kane

Kane as a pure goal machine is no.1 for me though.

Never saw Hoddle live. Saw the rest, I’d rate Kane higher that Modric from that list. Jurgen was a world class player in a mostly average team and was here such a short time. Similar with Ginola, amazing player surrounded by dross. Kane has been a consistently world class player for years and despite maybe burning bridges/having a sulk to push a move, is still one of our own. I wish so much to have seen him lift a trophy, I really do feel Spurs failed him rather than vice versa. I just hope that we use the money wisely and not like when Bale left. With improvement other top 4 clubs have made and with Kane going to one fo them, I fear we could be left way behind now. But I’ll still be there Sunday, it’s the hope that kills you…

Sure, but he has still managed to retain our affection. That’s something this lad will never have.

Don't be sure of that. Keane, Bale, Klinsmann, Sheringham, Berbatov all the did the dirty on us but were been welcomed back as players or in testimonials. Will depend on what happens with the rest of his career.

Only 28 of them scored for a top side. IMO he’s more of a big fish/small pond kind of guy.
Maybe he’s evolved since leaving United, but I think he still has a lot to prove in Chelsea.

Are you suggesting it’s easier to score goals for Everton than it is for Manchester United?

Feels like the final domino set off by the catastrophic summer 2018 window has finally fallen. With the singular exception of the miraculous run in the CL, the club has been a complete and utter dumpster fire ever since that time. It's been three years now and I remain utterly mystified as to how such an obvious disaster was allowed to transpire. I can't really blame any of the players who became disillusioned after that window, which remains the single most damaging self-inflicted wound I've ever seen by any team in any sport on the face of the planet, although Kane is undoubtedly a certified **** for how he's gone about voicing that disillusionment.

To the club's credit, someone in a decisionmaking role finally made the correct assessment that Levy needed to be relieved of his transfer duties, and the early signs are that we've got a gem in Paratici. It's going to be exceedingly difficult to replace Kane's attacking production, but at least the final vestiges of the project that Levy neglected and allowed to fail are now in the past. It's a new day at the club, we've survived the departure of star players in the past, and it's up to Fabio to get us pointed in the right direction. At least we have that to look forward to instead of another year spent hanging on to that which had already gone.

Struggling to process this. Even though we’ve had a rough patch I thought he’d always be around. Through the end of Poch and the malaise of Mourinho, his passion and ability to bring the best out of those around him could never be questioned. Whatever anyone said about him to mock him, the way he speaks or whatever, I always defended him because he was undeniably Spurs. If he really is going I’ll miss him, and supporting THFC will be less fun without him.

Enough about @yankspurs though.

Re Kane - Fuck him. I’m excited about his replacements. New era, new heroes, new dreams. We’ll be ok.

Considering how he has disrespected the club and fans in order to force his move, I just hope that he will at least have the decency to leave without issuing some cringe worthy thank you note to us fans. Just close the door behind you. Goodbye, mouth breather!

Jose Dominguez and Ruel Fox feel slighted by this list.

Really surprised Man U haven't come to the party for Kane.

Always thought he would go there if he ever left. A proper football club at least.

I just really hope he never wins the champions league there. He's selfishness declaring himself fit over man of the moment lucas arguably cost us our shot at glory.

Can I just ask where people stand now. If we end this season with less points than last season would you see this a massive underachievement or a building stage ready for next season?
I am all in on Team Nuno, and Team Paratici.

Onward, and upward. The journey starts anew. But, I think it will take a little time for everyone to settle in, and not really that fussed about it.

I do think we should prioritize a trophy over the league this year - but I suspect Levy feels differently. We should be favored to win the European Conference League - even if we are not yet even in it. I also see no reason why we can't have a strong cup run in League Cup and FA Cup.

Other than that - just looking for the team to regain some confidence and have some fun. We already have some exciting talents on the team.
