I want him sold so we can move on as a club, but I hope it's not come at a price that makes mugs of us. We can't be seen to have rewarded his antics and City's tapping him up by relenting at a price well below what we set, or else we'll be encouraging players to act up in the same manner moving forward. Hopefully they've managed to get City to up their bid closer to the 150-160 range.

Also sincerely hope the add-ons are very attainable and take it to north of £170m otherwise we've been mugged off if it's less than £150m.

It's less but with bigger potential in addons.
That sounds reasonable still. Something like £120-130m up front with potential add-ons up to say £175-180m would be better than £150m flat.

Obvs these huge deals always have tons of structure and add-ons involved anyways but will be interested what the figure quoted will be and how they spin it.

As sad as it is he's leaving, it seems the re-build will be very exciting.

Also, as a sidenote, over the last few years I felt Kane was the reason we stopped pressing with intensity as a team. He was let off the hook far too often with that.

All for the painful rebuild, lets get back to a club where our players want to play for the badge. Thanks for the memories Kane but its time to go, you are not bigger than the club.
