Bore off City. Pay the price or piss off.

I hope Son scores a hatrick against them, goes round silencing the whole team then just gives Kane a death stare.

Last week I was fine to let him go for the right price. This week I’m still fine to let him go for that but out of spite, hope he stays.

It's hardly news that he wants to leave is it. We've known for ages. It was also totally expected that Kane would tell Nuno he wants to leave when they spoke for the first time this week. It changes nothing. What Sam lee doesn't seem to realise is Grealish happened because City paid the release fee. The Kane deal is totally different. Whether both players are both on board with the move, makes no different at all.

PAY UP THEN AND STOP TAPPING UP OUR PLAYERS

I am genuinely tired of this saga. This has been clear all summer. If we "wanted to hear it in person" we're dunces and I don't think we are that dumb though I have my doubts at times. I am just forever baffled we've managed to get this far without signing his replacement when it's been clearly a must even if he doesn't leave all summer.

All I will say, there was a very clear and amicable (in the end) meeting yesterday with all of Kane’s people. Won’t say more than that. Suffice to say he wanted to be available to participate Sunday. Citeh have until 23rd/24th August to come up with a HUGE cash ONLY offer! Or piss off!!!

They have basically insulted us and ‘H’ with players choices, and circa 40m cash (as a guide). The wages those players are on, if we did go for any we like, we would have to up contracts of majority of squad. That alone would increase our wages around negative 20-30m per year.

They are struggling to get them off their books. That’s the facts. Now make your own decisions. 130m (which was my guess) won’t do it#CashOnly!!!

Martinez is his replacement IMO and I think once we hear movement on that, it will accelerate Kane to City.

You're right though, this should have all been sorted by now.

Thank you. I'm very pleased City are struggling to get these huge earners off their hands. I for one hope Kane stays.

Looks like City need to shit or get off the pot then. Wish it was a tighter deadline tbh, doesn’t leave much wiggle room after a potential sale.

Thanks for the update Herc, and i would only hope that an offer or deal is made sooner than later as the last thing we need is to be scratching around for a replacement striker or two during the last week of the transfer window.

Also pleased that the Club have stated cash only!

Worst case scenario. If Kane is not involved in the match day squad but is there watching the City game. How might certain sections of our supporters act if we are getting well beaten? Do you forsee in that event, abuse directed towards him?

I am not advocating this and I obviously hope we win.

I like this. Hopefully he understands the club's view a bit more now.

He should be just as annoyed with City as us. They've tapped him up big time and are now pleading poverty after paying top dollar for Grealish (who is hardly covering up a weakness of theirs). Considering they are 'all-in on him' they have a very funny way of showing it. He played second fiddle to Jack.

It sounds like we've put the ball in City's court now. Set a price and a deadline. Can't say much fairer than that. Say to Harry you are welcome here and here's a contract to prove it. If City really want you they'll put their money where their mouth is.

Surely we'd accept oil too? I mean, why go to the trouble of all the various intermediate steps of moving it around to pretend it's somehow legit commercial money - just have ADNOC (Abu Dhabi's state oil company) send us a couple of tankers with 3.2 million barrels (worth £160m) and let's call it what it is: sport washing.
