But we can buy some other players that could step up and chip in, rather than him doing it all himself.

Like a team does, as opposed to a one man band
Maybe, but at the end of the day you can only have 11 on the pitch. And any team in the world would be delighted for one of those 11 to be Harry Kane. That isn't replaceable. He's world class.

If JJ is right and that was his last game for us. How on earth do replace a guy who has is only the 3rd player in Premier League history to win the most assists and most goals in season?

you don’t. you move on and adapt.

if he does leave, perhaps a new manager with new ideas who hasn't had a Kane to rely on, may be the best thing in getting us used to being without him.

Surprised nobody has linked the Redknapp, Micah Richards & Neville conversation where they challenge that Kane is going anywhere. Richards says are we being disrespectful flogging Kane about and then Neville says he never told me he wanted to leave Spurs, not sure where anybody gets that from and then Jamie Redknapp says hes under contract, has 3 years left, its going to be very difficult to get Levy to sell him. They are walking it back quite a bit.

Kane wants the PL and CL medal. The likelihood of spurs winning either in the next 2 seasons are slim. If he really wants out then we should sell, and use the profits for the new manager to build the team he needs.

Yes, only after pushing out there about two minutes ago.

They are fully aware of what they're doing the fucks.

Just all these post make it seem levy has already sealed a move to man city and kane is saying his goodbyes..

Or do you think he is doing this because he will tell levy he is going and that's that

The damage has been done unfortunately. Just watch City come in and buy him

You cant, you invest in 2 or 3 players who can contribute towards what we are missing if Kane leaves.

Plus if we buy correctly, our best goalscorer won’t also have to do the job of playmaker. And who knows, maybe having our striker being able to stay in the box and stick to doing what he does best, it might mean we end up scoring even more

We can’t but we can try to mould a different kind of side. Buy a couple of pacey, young, hungry attackers and press like bastards again from the front and become horrible to play against. Spend the rest of the cash beefing up the defence and centre of midfield. Become a fast, powerful, well-coached team again less reliant on individual magic.

The funny thing is the likes of Neville have been frothing at the mouth about the chances of him leaving yet all it does is push him into the arms of Pep and City, which in turn, makes it much harder for United to win a title.

Secondly. Neville "I don't like to talk about managers getting sacked" - didn't stop him and Tyler spending the majority of a Tottenham game talking about Poch going to United whilst his mate Ole was just getting started.

The hypocrisy is off the scale

Must be done. For JJ to come out and say he thinks he’s ‘played’ his last game for Spurs.
Something must be there.
otherwise Levy would just be saying ‘No you’re not going Harry’ and turn any bids down.

Would love us to sign Grealish, Ings and Toney/Daka. Think that would be a superb way to replace the creativity and goals. Sadly Grealish is unlikely to come so we may have to go for Olise, which would still be great.

If he does go and I personally think (after Levy has squeezed every last penny and a transfer record out of City) he will then we are going to have to adapt our style. Goals from midfield are an absolute must and were a feature of our successful period with Eriksen and Dele before he went off the boil.
Europa conference league might give us the opportunity to transition and give the likes of Skipp Tanganga Scarlett etc plenty of run outs.
Be interesting to see what happens to Son as well- he has looked so out of sorts post xmas - like he’s not fully engaged, which is worrying.

you do know that JJ is just a person and someone with an opinion don’t you. Not everything he says needs to be written in three ancient languages and carved in stone as fact nor is he Nostradamus.
