The scary thing to contemplate is Kane’s message that he wants things resolved before the Euros - which would ordinarily be impossible. But if he has to invoke the Webster clause within 15 days of the season ending that would explain a quick resolution.

(I think the “season” is actually a legal term, and might not actually conclude until June 30 - but I don’t know that. )

Last night Suarez scored the winner to give him another gong. One of 20 major honours apparently. Personally, great footballer as he is, I can't stand Suarez, to think he has won so much is even more galling. And loyal Harry, just as talented IMO, has nothing. Anyway, I don't want Harry to leave, obviously, but if he was to score the winner next season in a title winning game in a foreign league, I'd feel happy for him. Note, I said foreign league, but thats not likely to happen.

Is anyone else spending an insane amount of time thinking about Kane and whether he will leave or not?
Having a chat with wife about anything and really all I'm thinking about is Kane, talking to old man about the golf which brings me back to Kane's interview with Neville etc etc

Anyway my latest brain fart on it is that the only way I can see him going and fans being ok-ish/not in complete revolt is if we get Conte & lukaku from inter from the cash along with 60/70m left over for other signings. Yea yea I know it's not going to happen but was just thinking of how it could happen and fans might actually accept it

Absolutely crazy how massive papers like the Telegraph can fully just post something that objectively wasn't said and everyone will buy into the narrative. Happens in all walks of life but christ football punditry is just the worst.

That’s why one needs to be aware of ALL things written across the media: a n other’s narrative. I recall listening to an interview on the Today programme at 7am; by 5.30pm the same story carried the opposite meaning.... why libel laws can’t be aligned to the footballing world I’ll never know - imagine one reason is ‘things change quickly’. The whole Harry story is grinding my gears somewhat

Not really no but then again Spurs and football isn't really at the forefront of my thinking these days.
