So do I, doesn’t make you a great fan just because you’re in a privileged position to be able to find the time and money to attend regularly. But taking joy in maybe being right about something that hurts the club, that’s just nasty.

And as for annoyance over Kane, I think you’ll find if you actually bother reading my posts that, much as I love him, if he goes and we extract a boon that leaves us in a potentially better position, I’m pretty relaxed about the whole thing.

Ginola leaving for peanuts to Aston Villa purely because the manager hated him, that hurt. Judas going to Arsenal, that’ll stick in my gut till the day I die. Getting a world record transfer fee but a guy who I’ve seen his best years over a very long period of time and got to enjoy more than any other player in my lifetime... it’ll be sad to see him f gone but it won’t kill me like the others did.

I was a bit too young to remember Teddy leaving but Ginola leaving like he did was my first heart break from football. Swiftly followed by Campbell leaving the next season like he did.

Haha the old New Manager coming in is exciting, Levy will back him time of the year again is it.

I'll be amazed if Kane falls for that again. We certainly shouldn't.

Reminds me of the old 'this time next year we will be millionaires Rodney', but Levy is Delboy.
Again? In which summer have we changed manager during Kane’s time at the club?

Unless you mean Mourinho’s appointment? I didn’t realise Kane could transfer in November.

Well, it doesn't answer the question that Sky quoted Kane's agent (ck66 - his Brother & Father who manage his affairs), which for me is the real bone of contention. If it was just Sky, then we'd not got as far as we have with this.
I missed that, do you have a link to it?

If an generational talent like Kane cannot make Levy relook on how he runs this club, then he will never change.

I think if the manager is who I think it is, and Levy gives him the backing I've heard he will, Harry could well be happy to see where it goes for another year at least.

I like this. If Levy is going to force him to stay then I think the least Harry deserves is a promising season ahead.

I do think if City put a serious offer on the table he will fully push for it however.

Levy has become a bit complacent. Under Poch things were going smoothly, net spend was something to be proud of, he could keep himself occupied with his stadium project. He got a little too comfortable. The mistakes he made (plus covid being incredibly unfortunately timed for us) has come home to roost a bit.

Now he's got the biggest summer of his career. Needs to hit on the manager appointment when there's fuck all options. Needs to convince Kane that it was his decision to stay, rather than being held hostage. Needs to bring back the goodwill of the fans with better communication and some form of cheaper ticket prices for PR reasons. Lots to do for Dan. An interesting summer to be sure!

My best mate and I, aged 11, wrote a letter to Teddy pleading with him not to leave, we even printed it onto a poster of him.

Didn’t work.

It's really quite simple. Kane would be happy to leave, think we can all agree on that.

I don't think this is him downing tools of putting a transfer request in. It will all come down to Levy what happens.

Get a ridiculous offer now and let him go, I find this the most unlikely to be honest.

He can point blank refuse and tell H to honour his contract. Then Harry will go it's just a question of when, will he kick up a fuss or will it be a case of waiting a year.

The other choice is to agree to let Harry go providing we are not at an acceptable level next season. The real test for this will be if Levy pushes the boat out with signings this summer and bring In the right manager. If he hopes for the best and just thinks a manager will change things he is in for a rude awakening.

Think everyone needs to accept as things stand Kane will leave at some point, the only way it doesn't is if Levy can change his mind and back it up.

Also Sky and Neville are wankers, they are desperate for Kane to go to United. Whatever happens I hope Daniel point blank eliminates them from being an option.

we all know this is what will happen

Just a quick flick through the last couple of pages and it seems no real grey area either you think he is going or he isn't.
I can't honestly see what BS levy can say that would convince him to stay at this cesspit, I don't think he is after wages because he does alright as it is but the one thing he wants we can't give him.

Oh, do piss off.

Whatever you might think of Levy (and I think we've all got the picture now after your last million posts saying pretty much the same thing), this is our club that you are talking about.

Fuck's sake......you'd like to think that only Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham fans would refer to the club in such terms.

Same here empty words
We've been here before with the statements, perhaps not to the level of a player of Kane's stature putting pressure on but Poch's last summer was similar.

We signed Ndombele and we all got excited thinking "Wow, Levy is really gonna go for it". We then spent the next two months dragging two deals over the line - both those players ended joining up injured.

It was also clear that we really didn't go far enough that summer. A CB, LB, DM, ST were all needed as well.

Loan him out to City so he can win the league then he can return home for 2022/23
That's not as silly as it sounds - especially if City don't win CL next week, Pep might like a season with Kane up front.
HK signs a new 5 year deal with us and we agree to loan him to City for a year to win stuff. Kane gets his trophies and his Prem Goal Scoring stats improve. We get him back a year into our rebuild, Win/Win.

Judging by that interview, he is more than happy to stay if Levy wants to be a serious club.

Not in a rush for Trophies, claims he has somewhat of another career, 8+ years in him.

If there's anyone that can make Levy spend, It's Harry.

Unfortunately, It's bad timing for Harry if he ever wanted out, which i'm sure he wouldn't be against. There's no team that is willing to part with almost 200 mil for him.

He can still give us another couple of years and then move on at 29. The top strikers you see today (Apart from Halaand and Mbappe) are all in the 30s.

Harry is the hero we don't deserve and i reckon the only man to make Levy dig deep in his pockets to make sure he stays true to his word about being an ambitious club.
