I think if the manager is who I think it is, and Levy gives him the backing I've heard he will, Harry could well be happy to see where it goes for another year at least.

That sounds exciting - but I'm sure Levy would have said the exact same to him with regards to backing Jose last summer.

What is really clever about the interview is Kane has turned it onto Levy... if Kane goes - it is because Levy didnt show enough ambition etc... also quite clever because the interview is open to both sides in terms of how you interpret it.

Fucking clever

Just a quick flick through the last couple of pages and it seems no real grey area either you think he is going or he isn't.
I can't honestly see what BS levy can say that would convince him to stay at this cesspit, I don't think he is after wages because he does alright as it is but the one thing he wants we can't give him.
He can't say anything.

It will all be about actions now

Im a great fan because I attend every season and have done for years. Direct your annoyance about Kane leaving elsewhere ?
So do I, doesn’t make you a great fan just because you’re in a privileged position to be able to find the time and money to attend regularly. But taking joy in maybe being right about something that hurts the club, that’s just nasty.

And as for annoyance over Kane, I think you’ll find if you actually bother reading my posts that, much as I love him, if he goes and we extract a boon that leaves us in a potentially better position, I’m pretty relaxed about the whole thing.

Ginola leaving for peanuts to Aston Villa purely because the manager hated him, that hurt. Judas going to Arsenal, that’ll stick in my gut till the day I die. Getting a world record transfer fee but a guy who I’ve seen his best years over a very long period of time and got to enjoy more than any other player in my lifetime... it’ll be sad to see him f gone but it won’t kill me like the others did.

Well quite, I'm laughing at the people putting 2x2 together and saying "he's gone" so vehemently when that interview can be taken in so many different ways.
I think what I’m more pissed off about is that the sky sports breaking news the other day was based purely off of this interview. Which doesn’t tell us anything other than he’s unhappy, which we all knew anyway

But what it has most probably achieved is a very disheartened dressing room which culminated in that shit show last night and has fucked up our chances of a good end to the season.

Why sky couldn’t have sat on this until after Sunday’s game? It still would have made the same headlines

It’s just realism. Firstly Joe Lewis will never invest a penny in this club because he’s a douchebag who only cares about bettering his own wealth.

This team is done. It needs to be torn apart. Kane wants to go and we need to rebuild. Poch was right, it’s gonna be painful.
You need to remember that they don’t really care about profitability outside of risk management I think it’s common misconception, they are all about Growth. After infrastructure, team success and nfl franchise is only venue for growth. And iam not sure that ENIC are big enough for NFL.

But it wasn't though.

They said that they've been informed by his agent and his agent hasn't denied it since.

STOP GIVING US REASON TO BE OPTIMISTIC!

This thread is for self pity and wanking into our own tears, and nothing more!!

(But seriously, love your work, never leave, that’d hurt more than Harry leaving)

Haha the old New Manager coming in is exciting, Levy will back him time of the year again is it.

I'll be amazed if Kane falls for that again. We certainly shouldn't.

Reminds me of the old 'this time next year we will be millionaires Rodney', but Levy is Delboy.

why should Sky sit on it?

The question you should ask is why would Harry give the interview- before the season ended?

I already have and keep saying too much as is. It's not concrete info but it's very well educated in some respects.
Your question in one of the other threads gave it away but I'm not gonna say, others are gonna have to find it!

It’s going to take some backing & persuading, seeing as it didn’t work out with Jose Mourinho, who was brought in as a serial winner.
