Leaving our squad short meant we had less chances to rotate, meaning we were more susceptible to injuries. That’s what happened and it is Levy’s fault.
I’m not saying anybody is dense, I’m saying it’d be dense to not realise the severity of the situation.
I don’t think that’s the issue. It’s rubbish defenders like Jones trapping his ankle. When players slide to n recklessly every player faces that risk. Kane is our most dangerous player so hence he receives the most desperate tackles.I’m starting to worry that Kane’s ankles are starting to hold him back, is this the 3rd in as many years?
I'm 50% sure it isIs it the same ankle as before?
I'm sure you'll get the hump with me marking this as a disagree, so I'll explain my actions. I dont in any way disagree with what youre saying. At all. It's pretty obvious that we gambled with players staying fit and we're losing that bet entirely. Our injuries have been relentless.
What we don't know is how ok poch really was in not signing anyone. There has been a tonne of reports saying he was (and to clarify -- I personally doubt this was the case). But if its true, then is he partly responsible for the situation too. It's an argument to be had maybe.
So what's my problem with your post? It's your absolute inability to see the other side of the argument, or how other people could see an opposing view. That's your perogative. But why the need to call anyone that disagrees 'dense to the extreme'? Everyone is working off the same facts as you, its just some choose to interpret them differently. It's what makes this forum brilliant. Sorry to call you out on this mate, its not just you. I just hate it when people resort to name calling. Anyway -- thats my reason for the disagree. In case you wanted it

Undoubtedly a massive blow which is only compounded further with Son's international excursion but each time we've had these Kane injury absences we've found a way to win.
We've still got a nucleus of great players at Poch's disposal and as we've seen so often in football, one door closes another one opens for a player to take that opportunity.
Not trying to sugarcoat what is obviously a kick in the bollocks but let's keep our heads eh and see what actually pans out before we all press the panic button!
So many games...Will miss...

@Trix in the ITK thread....Absolutely zero chance we’ll bring anyone in. We wouldn’t sign anyone even if we lost Kane and Son until next season unless someone decided to buy Llorente for £30m thus giving us £30m to spend.
Our thinking will be either we play with a false nine or start Llorente until Son gets back, then Son will play up front until Kane gets back.
We are not a club who makes signings because of injuries to members of the squad. Wanyama has been broken for two years and we are nowhere near signing a backup DM and look at the state of CM right now.
So many games...
Really hope he’s back before we move home.
