As much as it's awesome for Kane and Spurs, last night's cameo has now thrust him into superstardom. It's only been 5 months since he broke into the team. He's now going to be pasted over the back pages every single transfer window linked to all the massive clubs, 95% of which will be complete bullshit. It's already started with Juventus scouts supposedly there last night (yeah right) ready to offer an unbelievable package etc.

It's the only negative out of all this but thinking back to the Modric and Bale sagas, it's gonna be a right pain in the arse to go through again whether he leaves any time soon or not.

If there's an inkling of truth in the latest ITK, the I deal scenario would be selling the players that haven't quite done it for us, Soldado, Paulinho, Ade, Capoue, Chiriches and maybe Lamela & a couple more to raise the funds to buy back Bale and show Kane our intentions and show the world that we mean business now, especially with the new stadium coming. Build our team around the youngsters with a couple of worldies thrown in. With a couple of great players in positions we need, a team with Bale, Kane, Eriksen, Lloris, Verts alongside the youngsters like Mason, Bentaleb, Rose, Dier etc, will challenge for honours under Poch.

* when I initially typed in Juventus, my phone autocorrected it to Hibernian. How fucking odd. Lucky I noticed or that would've been a bit weird. You heard it here first - Bale to Hibs.

Wouldn't get too worried about the whole Madrid thing, remember it was Bale and Modric who forced through the moves not Madrid, as long as Kane is happy to stay he will stay.

And he's a lot younger. He doesn't have to worry about a move in the next year or two as a make or break time for him. He could stay for 4 more seasons and still be able to peak somewhere else.

This of course all depends on him maintaining this kind of form for the next few years. Which would of course be unbelievable.

As a youth product and a guy who has said he wants to stay here for life (maybe just bravado) I think we should have him for enough years to build a team around him. Our youth products, particularly the spurs supporting ones are almost certainly going to be a different breed to the journeymen types like Modric.

The main thing is the with a guy with this level of talent we don't do a Bale under AVB and put all the pressure on him to win every game. Now is the time to striker out for the likes of Depay, Ings etc and build a strong team but with him obviously as the strongest player. Much as I love Chaldi and Spurs fan Townsend we need more if we are to go up a level.

We need to improve though and start winning trophies, or he will be off within a few years.

If he keeps this form up for two years he'll be worth 150 million, I hope we don't waste the money this time around.

It would be such an advantage to be able to rely on a striker to get 20+ league goals per season, that Poch surely is looking for other players who can be put around him. Depay may be a reach, but we really could do with someone who can create consistent chances. Look at Sterling last night, an excellent cross that Kane put away.

What a week he had though, scored his first prem hat trick, made Wal**** look like a jessop, then caps it off with a 78 second debut goal for England and was mindful not to break Sir Bill's record. What a man.

Exactly.

And we should go hard for Ings imo as we're fucked if kane gets injured and ings can play across the A3 as well.

Or Vietto. Both similar players.
Obviously Ings is preferable but either would sort out the striking department for years imo.

Just took a quick look at him...kinell, yes please.

Definitely the kind of player we should be after.

Can play across the A3, comes deep and mucks in, quick, can use both feet comfortably, high energy/intensity, hungry, scores, creates.

Perfect for poch.

Oh, and he's Argentinian. ;)
