I've already had Man U mates asking how long we can realistically hold on to him.

Well done Harry keep it up

Someone should shame everyone in this thread who wrote him off. Young players need love, often unconditional, to bloom and my God is he blooming. Fuck me, what a performance, what a waste player. He can have my first born.

Pure class, the lad is a real talent, should walk into the England side now no doubt about it.

He has everything. Not as flashy as sturridge but over the course of a season he would contribute more. Only Rooney is better of the England strikers. He shits all over lambert, welbeck and berahino.

I am first to admit that I wrote him off way to early. Although I have came out and admitted I was wrong on a few occasions now. God damm you Harry, you made me look like a tit!

Fantastic effort, finishing is quality and you know the thing that pisses me off the most is that I tracked his career through different levels at spurs and seen his goal scoring record which obviously stood out. Deserves an England call up and a first Cap of many. Well done kid!

A few posts from 2011:

If he was genuinely outstanding he would be on our bench by now. If he isn't and needs to be coached slowly into the first team like most of our British players then he is over-hyped. Its probably the later

Harry Kane is a mix between Alan Shearer and John Hartson. Imo I'd keep him think he could make it.

a bit more like Lee Barnard and Andy Carroll if i'm honest.

Another superb performance today. He's got so much to his game already, and has still got years of improvement ahead of him. With the attitude he shows on the pitch, and the reports of his determination to improve in training, he has the potential to be something very special indeed. I'm just loving watching him, and it's all the better because he's one of us.

I've been saying it for the last 10 games or so, Kane's all round game is too good to have long bad spells. I think he'll play for England over 70 times.
