I think it's a matter of how the teams playing right now, we've been poor in midfield in the past but it hasn't been this bad. So Kane is trying to get in there and help out to advance the ball.Seems strange though as Kane has always had that mentality, but he wasn’t doing that before. Unless his experience with England has convinced him and Poch that that is what he should be doing?
If so Southgate has a lot to answer for because the only reason he does that for England is we don’t have a midfield.
If this Spurs team need Kane doing everything from deep then it doesn’t bode well for us.
Yes it’s great they he’s such a good all round player, but his starting position should be leading the line. He’s 25, not 35 trying to prolong his career.
