See, this is where Spurs could use some help.

They should absolutely be posting pics of Kane training - even if he is training alone. Make Chelsea prepare to face Kane - which is different than facing Son as a striker. Then, if he does not play, at least you made Chelsea spend time preparing for him to play.

Or post no photos and watch Chelsea shit a brick when they find out they're having to play against Kane ;)

Meanwhile the official Twitter implies he's out and just says he's "continuing to step up rehabilitation". Sounds like we're playing silly buggers to try and hamper Chelsea's preparation.

I reckon he's out. We don't usually fuck about with mind games.

Smart money says he's out and features next week. I like that we are keeping it a bit mysterious though. Works well.

Don't want Chelsea to be too confident of him playing as it'll boost them even more if he doesn't. But with it being deemed very unlikely even just naming him on the bench now would give us a boost. Plus the obvious confusion for Chelsea in how to deal with us as we are pretty different with Kane or Son leading the line.

Poch from presser:

Harry Kane update?

We need to assess him, he is very positive and is doing very well, every day he is improving. We need to assess, there is still a few days to the game.

It's difficult now to say yes or no to be involved in the game.

Positive news nonetheless?

I can not say no, I can not say yes. If not this weekend maybe next weekend, but the most important is that we are so positive about his recovery, he is doing fantastic, we are so happy because after Bournemouth everybody believed it might be a long period out, but i think the evolution was fantastic.

Genuinely Pochettino's words?

Poch's actual quotes and SC members' "quotes" are merging into one.

Sounding more positive about Kane getting back nice and quickly.

If he makes it for Chelsea no doubt we'll have the press and other fans bitching about him not being available for England (as of course rushing him to play for England for meaningless friendlies and him getting injured will greatly benefit everyone...).

Think Chelsea might still come too soon for him but looks highly likely that he'll be available against Stoke a week later. If you had said after that Bournemouth game that he was only going to miss one league game then I think we would have all been thrilled (even though that league game is a huge one against a fierce rival).
I read somewhere he was targeting the Brighton game on 17th.

I'd love it if he is able to be back for Stoke as they've been our whipping boys in recent times and he needs goals to try and get the 30 league goals mark (might be a bit too tight a target for him now mind).

Poch never rushes anyone back from injury. Especially a player like Kane. More likely bench against Stoke . At least he should be ok for the semi final.

Clapham junction to Wembley Central has been a piece of piss travel wise for me. They’ve no excuse in terms of travel for not going. It takes 40 minutes!
Except the two times I tried to use it to get to a match you had to get a bus from redhill or somewhere and it added half hour to the journey!
