Just so we’re crystal clear, I know it’s frustrating when ITKs allude to stuff “behind the scenes” that’s not made public but that’s no excuse for questioning them.

I’m confident that what’s been posted on here recently was all good information and backed up from multiple sources. As far as everyone was concerned, the club made it clear what it’d take to get Kane and Bayern made that offer (and had the financials in place to complete on the terms we wanted).

I don’t think any of us know what’s changed in the last 48 hours, whether it’s Harry’s camp, something to do with Levy’s visit to Florida or just a failure to get the replacement(s) in but the info that was correct doesn’t seem like it is any more.

That doesn’t mean it’s time to start interrogating everyone and we’ll remain strict on that.

Comment of gratitude to the ITK's. I'm sure I spoke for most when I say we are very grateful for any information you post and know it's always in good faith.

If someone can't appreciate that these situations are quite obviously fluid and fast changing and can make information outdated within hours then they need to go and give their head a wobble.

At the end of the day, Levy could pull the plug on the whole prospective deal. He’s under no obligation to accept any offers for Kane anyway and he can point to the fact Bayern have missed their own deadline. By all accounts Harry is more than happy to play for us for the rest of the season. The ball’s in Levy’s court now, not Bayern’s.
