This whole situation feels very much in limbo at the moment. A week before the first game of the season I don’t think you give any player 75 ish mins just as a send off. It’s a good bet even Kane isn’t sure what’s going to happen.

If he goes after scoring 4 today without barely breaking a sweat

Maybe Danny Boy’s trip to Miami is to convince Joe to write off 100m in the pursuit of glory…

or not ;)

Harry Kane took 80 minutes to score 4 goals which is one every twenty minutes but Dane Scarlett only took 10 minutes to score.

I think whatever your position on Kane was before the match, it shouldn't drastically change based on a friendly against Shakhtar after losing almost all their foreign players.

1 match a week….

We’re winning trophies this season if we keep him and improve at center back. Our first XI is really shaping up and squad depth won’t be as important this season.

Worth the gamble

Honestly, I think everyone’s position is the same. Stay or go, but get it over with. Huge cloud hanging over us as long as Bayern keep telling Bild they’ve got it done because they gave Levy a deadline and the Kanes are house shopping in Munich.

Agree with this but it’s just a shit state of limbo to in this close to the season. We are so much better with him. I’d just like to see a season of him playing in front of Maddison, Son and Kulu

Just keep him. Take the gamble. He must have enjoyed that game today. Attacking football and lots of service for him. He's priceless.

I know we were without Richy but giving him so much game time and then no real formal “send off” moment, it does appear that Levy had no interest in BM’s offer on Friday.

He obviously can’t stop them increasing it at any time but they are going to have to move on to other targets soon if they don’t want to hit the number he has presumably already given them.
