Because we are still fucking around with it at the end of July.

If the decision was to sell - it should have been done.

If the decision was to keep - it should have been communicated.
Oh come on, you’ve got to understand how the transfer window works by now? Bayern have one window to acquire a player we don’t really want to sell. This was never going to be resolved quickly.

Could have been with a deadline and a non negotiable price.

What's the point in flying over for a meeting if you're not prepared to get close to what we want...

Don't get it...

I don’t think Levy’s given them an actual price has he? So they may be coming over under the false assumption they think they will be offering what Levy wants….

My guess, if Bayern are not close - we will be keeping Kane, and loaning in Lenglet.
Saying we are just going to get Lenglet as our only CB signing is just ridiculous doom mongering at this point .

Just not going to happen in a million years. Only way he rejoins (as a signing not a loan) is as 4th choice, 2nd CB addition

I think the idea that Bayern Munich know less than we do about all this is … mistaken.

Far better to say nothing. And it would be meaningless for the club to set its own deadline. Transfer deadline day is the only deadline that counts.

Yep. Setting an artificial deadline is a nice idea in theory to put pressure on, but the actual deadline is the only one with meaning for all parties in this sadly

Precisely. Transfer deadline day is the problem. Always has been, always will be.

Why does it have to be an artificial deadline? They either want him at the price we are willing to accept or they don't. 3-4 weeks of derisery bids inbetween won't change anything as we still have a price we won't drop below. All it does is allow the press circus to grow.
