Yet never risen to occasion, he wants understandably trophies yet he is as guilty as the rest not winning them. It isn’t criticism of his ability it is fact. Harry isn’t bigger then the club and never will be onwards and upwards
Not doubting parts of what you say but to say he didnt get them over the line is just not right

How many times did Rooney get us over the line with England? Or Gerrard or Lampard or Beckham? They all had the same issues Kane has had with us as a club, it's a mental issue throughout the entire team. We've suffered from it since getting good, the pressure builds and the more you lose quarters/semis/finals, the worse it gets until you break that barrier and win something.

England have been going through a similar problem we have, exceptional players but just can't get over the finishing line.

There's a reason clubs and national teams hire the best people when it comes to psychiatry, everything feels good and natural until the pressures on and legs go to jelly for most.

Can't beat Kane over the head for something many other world class players have also struggled with.. Fuck, even Messi just about won a World Cup with Argentina after retiring and coming back out of retirement.
But all those players you mentioned turned it on at different times in finals to get there team over the line. Kane never has. I also quite clearly said this is not all on Kane but it does reflect badly on him. I love Kane and hope more than anything he stays with us forever but if he does leave not winning something with us despite the chances he had will always haunt him IMO.

Bloody hell! The guy hasn’t said or done anything but be a professional, add to that he is still a Spurs player and the knives are already out!

Never described Kane as poor, I said never have to won a trophy is poor. Instead of asking me to get a grip maybe focus on learning how to read.
To imply that he failed to get them over line and that its his responsibility is just wrong.

I still and never will see the attraction of joining Bayern……the German title is more of a given as it is here and although I’m not a gambler I’d have a kings pound of anyone’s money he won’t win the champions league with them…..Shearers record is the one….if only to take it off that smug ****

Of the top of my head head any big game Kane has been a part of for Spurs the whole team hasn't shown up, so what do you expect from him? To pick the ball up on the half way line and score a screamer?

Most big games the whole team doesn't turn up. You can't blame Kane for that.

This has been the issue. We got to the CL final, especially after the way that we did...and played with barely a peep.

For a lot of his semi and final opportunities he's not even been playing the role we've seen for the past 2-3 years, where he's also the orchestrator, so he was more reliant on someone to give him something to work with. Maybe the Kane of the past couple of years could and would have been able to do more to get something over the line, but in those moments and at those times it wasn't all on him. We barely as a team gave him a sniff.

Greaves was irreplaceable, Hoddle was irrepalceable, Gascoine was irreplaceable, the list goes on, Sheringham, Berbatov, Modric, Bale, Allen, many others. They come, they go, we win some (sometimes), we lose some ( more often). That's football, Spurs go marching on. Let's look to the future.

I agree, but this is currently mild relief compared to match threads. If Kane leaves and we don't properly invest, then things will take an ill turn.

And why do people over look the likes of Italy, Man City and Liverpool like they had no control and its purely up to us to win these finals as if we're not underdogs and they haven't won many titles

This video puts a lot of weight on the West Ham game, but the analysis is interesting and what we all saw in that game. I'm sure Kane would adapt to Ange's system eventually, but I wonder if he's actually the perfect fit for it these days? He plays much more like a 10 than a 9, and Ange's system wants that outright 9 that looks for the run-in behind. A haaland would be ideal, but richy and Son are more of that ilk... If we were to use Kane like an outright 9, are we wasting his incredible link up play and long passing ability? Or do we adapt the system around him? - which takes time and training. Time which may ultimately be wasted.

Either way, unless he commits, it's not worth a loss of £70m+ to keep him. The sensible thing is clearly to sell... You don't let an asset worth as much as him leave for nothing... I'd be gutted of course, but wish him every success.

Hand on heart did you think HK was brilliant on CL final the largest stage he ever been with the club. He gave damaging interview prior to cup final. Again not criticising stating fact. 💙

If he really doesn't want to play out his last year (would prefer that) sell.him to bayern with a buyback clause for a fixed amount, let him win a title, bring him back, lol
