The 7 stages of grief
Shock and denial. This is a state of disbelief and numbed feelings.
Pain and guilt. ...
Anger and bargaining. ...
Depression. ...
The upward turn. ...
Reconstruction and working through. ...
Acceptance and hope.

Us oldies could see the writing on the wall. We’ve seen it before and we have been expecting it to happen the day after the City match. I know you are angry but that hurt will hopefully be eased if we buy better than the 7 Bale gang. Fabio need to earn his Spurs.

He’s really tarnished his reputation with the method he’s done this and I’d be surprised if the crowd on Sunday doesn’t heap some real shit on him. I hope someone finds a song that will really make up for the hurt. Remember Kellis and Alanis Morrisette? That type of song!!

Anyone else just feel numb over it? I'm not mad or disappointed after all the shit he has pulled, I think it all slowly eroded away my care for him. His transfer away isn't really impacting my positive feelings for the club and its current direction. I feel much better now that I did when it was discovered that Bale was off.

How do you guys think he will be viewed in England after his career though? I'm an American so I can't really spectate how YOU guys view him but I do kind of relate as a Lakers fan who watched Kobe Bryant all his life.
Just a tiny bit of irony there - since Kobe forced a move to the Lakers before ever playing a game in the NBA…

Sad for me. Selling our own, England Captain.
Plus, my daughter’s 4 and she’s just starting saying she’s Harry Kane when we play football in the garden.
This will take some explaining :-/

Hopefully LM and DV are both bought to replace him.

The more I think about this the more I think Kane could actually regret this.

Anyone can go to city and get the medals that they’d win with or without you it’s almost meaningless these days.

Whereas very very very few players get the chance to be one of English footballs most famous clubs top EVER goalscorer which would mean statue, legacy and immortality amongst Spurs fans.

I know Kane is ambitious but if he and his family are Spurs fans I think he’s making a mistake tbh.
As he pockets 3, 4, 5 or 6 hundred grand a week I don't think he would give a fuck what anyone thinks of him.

He could have stayed and been a legend but instead tarnished his reputation here. A shame it’s ending like this. They won’t love him like we did. Those goals and trophies with City will not mean a thing

Meh. Is what it is. Can't blame him, can't blame the club.

I really hope City don't amount to anything and continue to fall short. Pep needs to burn 1b to win the league and fall short of CL. That to me is the real LOL.

I don't think he ever leaves, personally. I think the only way he goes is if he forces a move and I don't think he has that in him, certainly not if he feels it would ruin his legacy at the club.

He has become synonymous with Tottenham and Levy will want silly money to even consider letting him go, which I don't think any club pays considering his age, ankles, and the fact that the likes of Mbappe and Haaland will be a similar price and a longer term investment.

I'm pretty confident of that. In other words, get your bets on Kane to leave this summer.
You think you know someone...

If we can get £150m add another £50m from other sales bring in x3 £70m starters I genuinely believe we will be a better “team”. Maybe a CB 10 and a striker. I’m actually quite excited.

A few more bits coming in drips and drabs...

Kane being awkward since his return. Don't buy into his didn't want to hurt fans bs. All he wants is to go.

Nuno wants him out.

Fab wants the money asap.

We could miss out on targets if we delay too long.

City still not met the price, but are getting close.

Might not be completed by weekend but very likely agreed by all parties.
If I was gonna guess I’d say we try and get Vlahovic done ASAP so it’s not too obvious we’re desperate for a striker, then get other targets like a midfielder and centre back done as the deal gets closed
