No one is denying how good a striker he is. He's at least second best striker in the world.

But there is nothing to suggest that he deserves trophies(better) more than any other player in our team.

He is only with us right now because he choose to stay, if he was ANY other player he would have left 5 years ago.

Don't see the EL bringing in a windfall that makes or breaks us tbh.
Its not just TV Money from EL. Status , success , = money and Levy will see it in his fancy exel graphs.
Also remember that it will hit Growth which is all that investors care about.

Weird that someone is going to drop £100m+ for Kane when he’s so bad in big games

Almost like they recognise he’s hindered by some absolute woeful players

1- the little to no money is a constant
2- how often is a transitional season going to keep being used one of the most over used comments on here.
3- pandemic meh
4- Leicester also compete in that league and has just beaten one of those teams to win a trophy plus won a league in living memory.
Okay. Now I have some time to get to this, I will reply properly.

Let's start with my original reply... 'What is your point'? Meaning, you rattled off a list of proof points, but neglected to include what perspective/viewpoint/disclosure/hypothesis/opinion you were trying to make. I can only assume you were basically saying: "That's a load of bollocks, as it's the same old crap every year, and here's why.... therefore I am invalidating your comment about it being a crappy time for Harry to seek a transfer away". Am I close? Near enough? Getting hotter?

Sadly, without context, it was just a list of: You're wrong about this, this, this and this. However, I'm not going to explain why I think you're wrong. Hence... 'what's your point.'?

We'll got to your other BS in a minute. But, going to your list here...

1. no money is a constant - i agree. we don't have much money. but we are in an even worse situation now financially, than we were, say two or three years ago, due to Covid and the world economy. So, yes, this is a slightly different situation, in terms of our finances. That is fact.
2. over used comments about transitional seasons - again, because I have no idea what opinion you were trying to get across, I can only assume this to mean, "same old crap, just a different day". As in, we're always in transition. And it sucks. And so on, and so forth. Yes? Well, brother... hate to break it to you, but there are times when we have been truly in a transitional period. The last time, was really the beginning of Poch's time in charge. Jose was more of a continuation of that generation, but with his spin on it. Obviously his spin didn't work so good. Now, it's clear, given a whole ton of inputs, and considering today's result, we are entering a more significant transitional phase. We are entering a whole new era next season... very likely without European football, for God knows how long.
3. Pandemic meh - Not really sure why you'd blow off the pandemic in such an obtuse way. You think billions in lost revenue across the world for many companies is 'meh'? You think millions of people being unemployed is 'meh'? You think millions dying is 'meh'? You think the pandemic's financial impact on Spurs is 'meh'? Like it barely registers as a blip? You think the pandemic's impact on the world of professional football is just 'meh'? Well, if that's how you feel, fair enough. Personally, I think it's less 'meh', more 'Well, that's fucked things'.
4. Foxes, blah, blah - Fine example, of a team that has won two trophies in the last ten years. Which, sorta makes my point for me... If this Harry guy wants 'guaranteed' trophies, and he isn't going abroad... then City is the place to be. As they do, and will continue to win one to three or four trophies per season. The last ten years proves that out.

Okay, now on to your other shit talking...

Firstly, it's important to remember, you never know who you are speaking with online. Secondly, why you felt a need to rhetorically ask if I I was in need mental assistance, is beyond my maturity level, unfortunately. Thirdly, I was being completely truthful. Yes, was just at DHS USCIS, for my wife's green card interview. Hence, little time to respond. It wasn't me ducking or diving away from your superior intellectual retorts and pithy comebacks. Spouting snotty little comments, and thinking it's a 'mike drop' isn't my cup of tea. I'm happy to go toe-to-toe. Any time. On any topic, if it is something I feel strongly about. Didn't have time in the morning to do so, cos of the above. So, if it helps you sleep better at night... 1) to the best of my knowledge, I am not mentally unwell 2) you are correct, I am simply incapable of being critiqued. therefore, why bother even doing it again? Why even critique my critique if you believe I can't handle a critique, unless you think I can handle a critique now, and you're compelled to critique my critique of your critique.

Oh... and in case you're interested... the interview went really well.

As for the Spurs game... not so much.

Hugo and Bale have already won the big stuff. Bale had to leave us to achieve that; Hugo is French! Toby, Son have been great servants to the club and their national teams but neither of their teams have been good enough to get the trophies. Kane can win trophies for another club...unfortunately! Saying he "deserves" it will never be resolved to anyone's satisfaction.

I think he deserves it more than anyone in our team for the work he's put in over the years.

Does he? Why hasn’t he shown up on the big occasions for us then? Today is just another example of significant games passing Kane by.
I don’t disagree with some of what you are saying but Kane is an elite CL calibre player and we probably won’t even qualify for the conference league.

Does someone forced him to stay? He signed it because he wanted and became best paid player in club and one of the best paid player in the league.

Or because, thus far, nobody has actually offered to shell out for what we think he's worth. Does anybody actually believe he wouldn't have been up for it if Real Madrid or Barcelona had whacked their money on the table for him?

Thats a bit harsh to say the least. In 5 years we finished 3rd 2nd and Champ League runners up. The team was on the cusp of good things.

Rather he says it now then drop a bombshell in the summer.

At least we can get used to it and not have any false hope about next season (that's if he leaves in the summer)
Rather he had waited until Monday ...

I would not play him against Leicester. Partially for dropping the story, and partially because he is playing not to get injured - and that makes him much less effective.

He's saying it. It ain't going to come out in a bold print "I want to leave Spurs!"

Talking like it's a pleasure to play in this Spurs team right now :D

It doesn't matter who plays, it's not as if anyone is stepping up at moment anyway.

Let him go.
Yeah, I'd rather we did a deal for him to go, as opposed to having this drag on all through next season. If we are to move on as a club and make a clean break then the last thing we need is to try to hang onto a player that doesn't appear to want to stay here. Also, we need a squad rebuild and that money isn't coming out of thin air - we have to generate it somehow and if that means cashing in on a star player that wants out then it's the only way forward from where I'm sitting.

See its personal spin here, I will ask one thing, why was there NO reports of any club in for him in the last 6 years?
