Harry Kane injury update

Following assessment today (Friday), we can confirm that Harry Kane suffered a tear in his left hamstring during our New Year's Day fixture against Southampton.

Our medical staff will continue to review the injury with treatment ongoing.

Imo it’s good that he’s injured himself at the beginning of the window so it will give us time to bring someone in as cover- whether we do that remains to be seen....

He was doing ball work before lockdown happened and there were rumours he could have been fit for around now, so I would assume so . Only problem for him( and now everyone else) is match fitness/ sharpness.
