The well known PFA parasite Gordon Taylor has publicly criticised Daniel Levy's treatment of Gareth Bale.

This is absolutely none of his business how we conduct of affairs, and he has no knowledge of what is being discussed and should remain silent on the whole issue.

The analogy I draw is like marketing a £1m house and the offer comes in at £500k, then you ain't going to accept it.
The Bale saga is no different. He has a price, and if the offers are falling short, then there's no deal. Surely a numpty like Taylor can understand basic economics.

He has to pipe up every now and again or he'll lose his job. Fact is he looks fed up with sticking up for the modern day footballer. It's a different job from the one he took on.

He should really be criticising the treatment of his own wallet to be honest...........

You sound surprised that the Head of the Players Union is sticking up for the rights of a player, a member of the union he represents.

If it's not his business, what is his business? Apart from losing money at the bookmakers.

To save anyone else going to have to look/find what he has had to say...
Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) chief Gordon Taylor has called on Spurs to allow Gareth Bale to leave for the Bernabeu.

The Welshman has been linked with an exit from White Hart Lane and has not shown up for training for the past two days.
“Players have, invariably, just the one career, it’s, usually, a relatively short career, and here a player has such a tempting offer to play for one of the world’s greatest-ever clubs,” Taylor told Zapsportz.com.
“Surely nobody could deny him that right, to play for such a club, with all due respects to his present club.
“The game is all about money. Of course, it always was, but much less of it in the past. Now we are talking about incredible numbers, but for the player it is also an opportunity to play at the pinnacle of the game.”

Er, one word.

CONTRACT.

What about contract. When Bob Crow looks after the tube guys, they all have contracts too. He doesn't turn round and say "sorry guys, I'd love to help you out but I can't because of your contracts".

Same principal here.

I don't like him or his comments any more than anyone on here, but I'm not surprised by them at all, especially when you consider he (Taylor) gets paid over £1m a year. For £1m a year, I'm sure I'd say something that always sides with the people paying me to represent them.

Whenever someone says "with all due respect" I always hear it as "with no respect at all." Strange how that happens.

You can see how important Gordon Taylor is nowadays by the fact that he gave this interview to Zapsportz.com, which I assume none of us have ever heard of and sounds like it might be a site that hosts dodgy Russian feeds of Premier League games. The PFA were superseded by agents years ago, his opinion is worth about as much as yours or mine.

He needs to shut up entirely tbh. What he has said is hardly scathing but it's not his business to say anything and also shows little respect to the club or contract law.

I think the simplest way to send this message would be to cut his genitals off and stuff them into his mouth.

But then I'm mellowing with age so maybe that's a little too subtle.

He can say what he wants, I don't disagree...

But he asks how can we prevent Gareth Bale from moving on?

Well, by enforcing his contract, of course.

Didn't Gordon Taylor defend Liverpool's Suarez stance. Seems a bit double standards.

What a cock. "players usually have one short career"....yeah never mind the fact that said career can pay more in 1 month than many are likely to earn in a lifetime!!!

As an employee, if I didn't turn up for work I would rightfully be disciplined. No different to Bale. If it was up to me and the money was irrelevant I would keep him for the length of his contract or sell him to Barca.
