It first started when I got tagged in a post on Facebook by a Gooner, it was a meme saying tag a someone who can't take 'football banter' when their team lose.

This is how it went....

Me, I am not expecting to win the league, will be very happy with CL,
We have a young team and we can build again next year. Now on the other hand if Arsenal don't win it there will be outrage and your peado of a manager will be sacked.

There is a reputation about Spurs fans being delusional but I always found that we could laugh at ourselves. Even when we were shit in the 90's we would sing about it and just wanted some sort of cup run.

Gunners fans seem to be born with a silver spoon in their mouths. On the internet they're even worse. They are like a pack of wolves and back each other even when they know they're wrong. Even when their player scores a bang average goal they'll vote for their man in droves so they win it

My advice is to take it with a pinch of salt or ignore it completely. You'd have more chance reasoning with a sociopath

They are worried about us and this sort of thing highlights that. Even if we don't win the league this season, and I actually think we will, we will challenge again next season. Yes Chelsea, Pool and United will probably be better than this season but so will we. It will be even crazier next season with all the extra $$$ for everyone else too.

Alot of the current generation of Arsenal fans grew up with them winning doubles or "the invincibles' so I think they see this period as a blip and it won't be long until arsenal are back on top.

Sadly (for them) they have really missed their opportunity and once Wenger leaves they will be just like every other club chopping and changing managers every 2 seasons desperately hoping to find the next <insert previously successfull manager here>.

Him: How about we have a bet? If Spurs finish above Arsenal I'll wear a Spurs top, take a picture and have it as my Facebook profile pic for a week. If Arsenal finish above Spurs you have to do the same with an Arsenal top. I'll even give you the 4 points so Arsenal have to finish 5 points ahead for me to win.

Me: No deal. Arsenal have finished ahead of Spurs for 20 years. If I'm
going to risk scarring myself for life by putting on a Gooner top if you lose you have to get an 'I love Spurs' tattoo.

Him: Deal.

Few months later, Spurs 3 points ahead of Arsenal and he's picking out typefaces.
