Just seen on Gomes's Facebook page that he's off to Eindhoven. Doesn't specify which team, but I assume PSV. Good luck to the big man.

I can honestly say that I am very happy for him. I feel as though we have treated him a bit unfairly over the past few years. I'm happy to see him off, and I'm sure Daniel is happy to see him off our wage bill (y)

Chuffed for him.

I actually hope we let him go for free and handed him this chance to revive his career.
He has been a loyal servant, but he has made a few mistakes on the field. Off of the field, he has hardly/if ever mentioned us in a negative manner or complained about his lack of game time. He was a good professional.

Good luck Heurelho!

Heurelho Gomes

Good morning, yesterday I shared a picture, and I wrote 'off to Eindhoven', but I didn't said that I was going back to PSV, I went there because I still got friends there and I went to visit one of them, everyone knows that PSV is very special for me and hope that I can play there again one day, but it is not the case at the moment, I have been as professional as possible during the time I'm not playing, I still have a contract here till the summer and of course I believe I got many years to play in top level, I will looking for it ,but at the mean time I have to do it right, thank you so much for the all best wishes that I received from my SPURS fans and the welcome messages that I received from my PSV fans, but I'm not going nowhere yet! God Bless you all!

Edit: ah, and i see that I have just re posted something for the 3rd time. Apologies.

He'll get a bigger pay day if he manages to hang around for another 4-5 months, unless of course Spurs cancel his contract or PSV stump up something.

I am surprised he's not ready to "compromise" so he can get playing time and maybe stand a chance to play for Brazil in the WC (well, at least make the squad) in his home country....

Yeah I was thinking this last week. To be involved in a World Cup in your home country must be very special. This surprises me it hasn't been said before (sorry if I missed it). He still has a lot to offer (even the blunders wouldn't/ shouldn't stop his dream if he still has the desire to play for his country again) and to take a pay cut to live this dream- well I'd want to try at least to be part of the WC this summer
