Golf - Irish Open 2012 at Royal Portrush

great to see a tournament on TV played at this great golfcourse

i have played it many times as I grew up only 15 miles away, it is tough

Was at the course on Tuesday for practice and looked amazing, though to be fair saw most of it from the beer tent. It's been amazing for the town aswell, before it was announced it looked like a shithole but now the whole place has been done up.

The golfers themselves are real nice people but the visiters are arseholes, Was drinking with Rich Beam, and his caddy and both of them are class, don't take themselves too seriously and the bar I work in is now his sponser for the competition cause he's wearing a cap with our name on it Top guy.

It's stiil there mate in all It's glory.
Unfortunately it seems the Pros are showng the golf course up a wee bit, they cut the rough down tight so its not as hard as it should be, also for the first time in 100 years there is no wind!
