But it doesn't matter one way or the other. Bremer says he is staying put in Italy and that is it. If you had posted this in the Bastoni thread though. . . . . .
Interesting, I did not know that. Thanks buddy

Attitudes and circumstances can change. Does mean they will, but they can.

But the reason for him not wanting to leave Italy is not directly related to football. I don't see him changing his mind some how, I wouldn't under those circumstances.

He has also said he is leaving Torino this summer though. So if Inter don’t have the funds, something will have to give, either he stays at Torino or else he revises his destination.

I may well be wrong here but I don't think he has said that has he? In the most recent interview he said he can qualify for Citizenship through his wife anyway.

He doesn't want to come to us. If he did the deal would have been done by now because we're offering more money than Inter - who are offering a loan with an obligation.

I think it's more a case that his preference is Inter but they need to make a big sale first. No idea what happens if they don't raise the funds though. I think we're an option for him but would likely go later into the window while he waits on Inter.

Think this whole Inter situation is going to drag on all summer.

If we want to benefit from it and move for the likes of Bremer (or, very unlikely, Bastoni) I think we'll have to wait until late in the window and be opportunistic. The whole club is a basketcase and I don't think they even know what they're doing themselves, so best bet is to wait and see where the chips fall and then move accordingly.

As we've already found out on multiple occasions, there's no point trying to plan around them since they just spin you lies and move the goalposts. But if Bremer still doesn't have a club in late August, suddenly we could be a very appealing option for him.

I hope we move on from this too, after Bastoni. Is just so tiring dealing with footballers now who have so much to consider and look after. It's not like asking him to stay in England forever I just couldn't understand the insistence, and his partner's insistence to wanna stay in Italy when moving abroad in one's career can do so much good than bad. I know there can be alot of arguments to my point, but I just find some footballers nowadays are thinking a bit too highly of themselves and/or too narrow-minded to experience a different working culture that wouldn't come by again after the peak of their careers if we just consider them as employees.

Or maybe it's just us being unfortunate to have targetted such players times and again.

The best bet is to fuck them off completely and move for players we KNOW we can get, but that's just my two cents worth and just my opinion.

Yeah was more thinking if we're being opportunistic late in the window.

Beyond that, seems a complete waste of time to target Inter players, or players tied up in Inter's mad transfer circus.

I'm not so sure you can afford to be opportunistic when you are talking about key positions and players.
