Giovani Lo Celso wants to move to Tottenham this summer and join up with Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine is keen to move to the Premier League and is hoping current club Real Betis will allow him to leave.

Eriksen interview in Extradagbladet or what it's called, Danish media outlet.
I know.I just said it is "pretty standard" for players not to openly discuss transfers with the media. I never said they never do it.

I reiterate my point. A transfer story with no quotes is not necessarily bs. Not sure why such a simple statement is hard for people to understand.

Wow, first RS then GLC want in to Tottenham - this is going well. Too well... :cautious:
So a good window is stories of players who want to come to Spurs that cost more than we pay for players?
Is that better or worse than world cup winners nearly signing for us then sending a nice letter to say why they didn't?

Pretty standard for players to not talk to the media about wanting to leave.

As readers we just need to decide whether we believe the souce or not.
Fucking hell, I'm not sure Spurs Community is the right place for this kind of sensible, thought out posts.

Have we ever made a bid for a player, had it turned down then gone back with a higher bid?

Honest question. Really can't remember if we have or not.

I know we stretch out negotiations. Especially how it's paid. But this seems an official bid that was turned down.
Didn’t we get turned down initially by Roma when we went for Lamela? Like you though I’m not sure. I guess no one will know unless you’re an ITK who’s contact is close to the negotiations.

Doesn't really matter. We will make another bid or move on.

So it is pretty standard for players not to talk about moving to another club.
It does not show Erriksen in a good light as he has not stopped talking about quitting spurs and me for one hopes he gets his wish.
