I used to like him at Ajax but for me he’s massively inconsistent and at 29 I think he’s a prime example of a player that we will probably be struggling to shift in a season or two.
He seems like the type to have a chip on his shoulder about going from "a big club like Chelsea to Tottenham" as well. And we made him cry in Ajax.

I have to say though if I’m the player I certainly wouldn’t be wanting to go there, new ownership or not based on their previous ownership and what’s being chanted from the stands at the moment, I’d even pay for my own flight to sign for the goons.

I can't give a definitive assessment of Leao as I really haven't watched him much, but whenever I have I really haven't been that impressed. Is he a bit overhyped or without a doubt worth such a large transfer fee?
Agreed. Everytime I watch him he’s ok, does some fancy dribbling but is incredibly lazy
I have a theory that Chelsea have 1.5 billion of a head start on their spending before FFP enters the thinking

No, he’s not overhyped imo. Obviously you have to take into consideration the league he plays in but he’s a seriously talented player. The only thing I’d say is long term I see him as a striker rather than a WF. He’s not a player I’d say we necessarily need even tho I’d love him here. Mudryk is more of a playmaker than Leao.
