Half of my current acca has come in and the cash out is £25 ish.
It's a free bet and I'm tempted.....

One of my pet hates is people cashing out before a game has even kicked off. If you didn't fancy them in the first place then why put them on? There's a time and a place for cash out imo (when you're winning but clearly on the back foot) but as a rule avoid it as much as possible. You're basically getting hit by the bookies 15% cut twice (or however much it is) - once when you place the bet, once when you cash out and you're essentially betting against what you thought would happen in the first place.

I remember when I bought a car, one I really liked, and a mate offered to buy it from me for more than I had paid ....I sold him the car (that I really liked) and bought another one, I had cash left over as well.

But would you sell it if the mate offered you significantly less than it was worth?

How would it be worth significantly less?

If I take the cash out I am in front ......I take the basic stake and re back the remaining four in the acca along with another four....that means I'm £25+ in profit and I still have an acca on the go...
If that one comes in then I go and buy a car and then go looking for my mate.....

But if your original 4 win and one of the remaining four lets you down you'd be far better off not cashing out. As a general rule if you cash out consistently you will lose as a result of it.

For simplicity, consider there's one game left, say Burnley to beat Fulham tonight. If you were to cash out, you're using your potential winnings as leverage against the result of Fulham double chance, so your cash out will in theory be equal to your potential winnings divided by the odds of Fulham double chance (or should be, some bookies set the cash out as less in my experience). The odds of that result and Burnley to win are generally set so the bookies make about 15% regardless of the result, so when you cash out you're losing a share of that 15%. Cashing out on an acca is even worse because the 15% you're losing gets multiplied however many times.

If you do get tempted to do this often, then just stop putting games in your acca that aren't playing at the same time. You could always stick all your winnings from last night on tonight's games as you see fit. You should find that your winnings from last night's games only would've been a fair bit more than £25 (although not as much as usual with it being a presumably non-stake returned free bet).

Not used Unibet for a while but just got an email/offer deposit up to £50 and get a free bet of the same amount, no wagering required. (for deposit or winnings.)

Probably account specific but worth a look.

William Hill offering a guaranteed free bet on their "scratch of the day" promotion. (today only)
Also bet £10 (or £5 EW) on Tournament winner at the Euros and get £5 free bet each time they win a group game (so potentially 3 X £5 free bets)
Might be worth it if you were looking to have a punt anyway.

Lol cannot get a thing on at Paddy's (restricted and bonus banned)

which is strange as about ten years ago they would regularly give me £500 matched deposits in the casino with zero wagering required... which was nice :)

Love Wrexham to win National league at 6.5. Mac and Reynolds seem very committed and willing to invest. Big brand sponsor confirmed today.
