I didn't catch MNF last night. Did Gary Neville add to his team of the season?

For those who didn't catch last week's, or want to discuss his choices:

Hart
Walker Kompany Coloccini Baines

Nominees:

GK:
Hart (Man City)
Krul (Newcastle)
Vorm (Swansea)
Szczesny (Arsenal)

RB:
Walker (Tottenham)
Richards (Man City)
Simpson (Newcastle)

CB:
Kompany (Man City)
Coloccini (Newcastle)
Ferdinand (Man Utd)
Evans (Man Utd)
Kaboul (Tottenham)
Skrtel (Liverpool)

LB:
Baines (Everton)
Evra (Man Utd)
Assou-Ekotto (Tottenham)
Enrique (Liverpool)

Amazing that there are no Chelsea defenders on any of the shortlists - they usually dominate that section.

I can't argue too much with his selection...I might have picked Richards over Walker, Kaboul over Coloccini, and BAE over Baines, but that's mainly because I haven't seen too much of Newcastle or Everton this year.

Then you have no idea what you are talking about. Unfortunately the goons have one of the best keepers in the league now.

i'm not doubting chesney at all but don't think he's been as consistent as friedel this season. i have no idea what i'm talking about though so just ignore me.

it's not a strange one at all, i haven't dismissed chesney's quality, just that over the season he has actually made a handful of mistakes.

I haven't watched a great deal of anyone else this season, to tell you the truth. However, I've been impressed by what I've seen of him.

The most common compliment we hear in relation to Friedel is that he doesn't make any spectacular mistakes. Well fuck my old boots-if he were a singer, karaoke would be his level.

Surprised Parker didn't even make his shortlist for the central midfielders but Modric did. IMO Richards>Walker and Enrique>Baines. Rest is fine and Dempsey vs Bale is very close but the reasons he gave for choosing Dempsey were perfectly valid.

I don't, as much as it pains me to say it, Enrique has been excellent this season

Surprised Valencia made the team - he was off form at the start of the season wasn't he? He didn't get any assists until December and he's only scored four which is well below his level. He's been very good since he found form, but that's still about half the season he was below par.

I'd probably have Song in instead of Valencia with Silva on the right.

Benny is worse at stopping crosses into the box than Baines and definitely worse at set pieces and maybe crossing. Better at everything else.
