Anyone know what's going on with him at Madrid this season? Wiki suggests he has only played 3 times or club but appears to still be playing for Wales.

If he can still perform at a reasonable level I'd be fine with giving him a 1 year deal.

Plays for Wales, gets injured for Wales, rinse repeat.

If Antonio likes him, if Bale buys into Antonios philosophy...hell yes. Even the glimpses Bale showed last season gave the team a much needed different option in terms of goals and assists.

If Wales gets through their playoffs then he will want to be fit and on form for the world cup in December, I have a feeling he might drop off after that, so would a contract up until December be possible?

Absolutely! He could give the youngsters financial advice. How to sit on the bench from age 29-32 and pick up 30mil a year!

He'd started to show glimpses of what he could do after 6 months into his loan spell but I'd rather not sign guys who are injured so often, esp someone who takes time to get his sharpness back.

Thing is, if he said he wanted to (and could) come right now, be available for Leicester next week, I'd say yes, why not. He'd give us something extra and could have an immediate impact. But if Conte is indeed here for the 'project' and is going to build a Spurs team in his image, do I want Bale in August next year? Not so much, I don't see where he fits in at that point.

If glimpses mean 15 goals and 4 assists a season I'll take that.

But still contributed more than Lo Celso, Bergwjin and Ndombele combined
Thats that bit that make we laugh when people say hes too expensive....we are paying £400k a week for these muppets that offer the some of naff all. Last season Bale 11 goals and 2 assists. Berg, GLC and ndom 6 assists and 5 goals (£110m of spend)

His goal return was better than I gave him credit for but the first half of the season he looked in really bad shape (mentally or physically). Was scared to test his body. The older he gets and less football he plays mean injuries will be a greater risk. It's all about fitness with him. He'd be an asset to anyone if he plays regularly.
