Only Livermore was worse.

Bambi on ice. I was hoping he would do his cruiciate, hamstring anything just so he cannot be selected.

Are you serious? They could have won it at the end when they were 2on1 vs Gallas. I don't like Gallas particularly much but that dont mean I should slag him off at every chance.

wishing a cruciate ligament injury on somebody is sick trust me after two years of hell with one they are not funny injuries! i would not wish it anybody including Sol!

You could have just said gallas shouldnt play but wishing injuries on your own players is awful!

but i agree gallas should be dropped and dawson or caulker in please :)

I thought Dawson was made for a game like today after how Holt bullied us last time.

He does look totally uncomfortable on the ball, but the hideous lack of movement in front of him doesnt help.

Livermore and Gallas should not be in the squad never mind first 11 against Reading. I'd rather Caulker/Dawson started at centre back and Carroll on the bench in place of Carroll. Don't understand what management sees in Livermore, offers nothing.

As someone who has done their knee ligaments and still lives with the aches and pains... you are a ****. Outrageous comment.

You have no idea and I doubt you've ever suffered such an injury. I think you owe this forum an apology.

I don't mind him as a defender but he was given so much time with the ball but he looks so uncomfortable with it and he slows us down so much. If we play a system or against a team that means out central defenders to have thi much of the ball we should be playing Caulker now Kaboul is injured.

I don't understand how he's above Dawson.

Our defense is in dissarray. At one point Norwich broke and they had a man in acres of space. There wasn't a Spurs defender within 30 feet at least. Thankfully Dembele read the play and ran back for cover but we were a shambles.

The problem wasn't our defence today (agree it wasnt very good), and singling it out will only deflect from where the true problems lie. Even if Dawson had played instead of Gallas, I don't think it would have changed the result or the performance.

I do find it surprising that Gallas is first choice at the moment. He is a great option to have but he has looked suspect in each of the first three games.

Thats quite true, there is no way of knowing. I like Dawson, he is no where near as bad as many make out and if Kaboul was fit and Verts is playing, Dawson obviously should be on the bench, although Caulker needs playing time, he has to be looking to play in the cups.

imo AVB new into a job needs players he can rely on and with Kaboul out, Verts finding his feet, Caulker still a touch raw, Dawson is one of those, for the time being.

Gallas was poor today and was constantly out muscled and he was just as poor as Captain, spending more time arguing with his back four than urging the team forward.

Dawson (who in my opinion is the best defender at the club and a natural leader) should not only be re instated in the starting 11 but also given the captains armband.
