Every year they do it so thought I'd clue you guys in with Spurs players in there.

Rafael van der Vaart is in at no. 54 (down 12 places from last year)

Gareth Bale is in at no. 45 (down 14)

Luka Modric is in at no. 18 (up 43)

Just those three. Interesting little stat for Modric though - "No player has completed more passes in the opposition half this Prem season."

The top 10 is as follows:

The biggest drop is Diego Forlan who dropped 70 places to no. 81.

The biggest rise is Karim Benzema who rose 61 places to no. 30.

I don't understand what Bale & Rafa have done in the last twelve months to lose places - sure, a few injuries might've had them laid up for a while, but on what criteria is this based on? One persons opinion? Was it a poll? Statto?

Seems a little strange that Rooney has gone up six places too, he's not exactly been the talisman he has been in the past. And Evra?? :think:

Yeah really don't get how Rooney is so high.

As a forward I'd rather have Messi, Ronaldo, Aguero, Villa, van Persie (among others)

As a creative midfielder (which he isn't despite Ferguson's best efforts) I'd rather have Iniesta, Silva, Modric, Xavi, Fabregas, Ozil (most definitely among others).

Over-rated. Very good player, but not among the very best in the world.

I once bought a Four Four Two and when talking about Arsene Wenger, it called him classy. I have ever since thought of it as a bit of a joke magazine.
