I've noticed a really welcome change - the BBC are no longer blocking football (and other sports') commentaries here in Australia. I'm assuming this is the same elsewhere in the world. There was a period during Covid when games were played in empty stadiums when they temporarily relaxed the restriction but now it seems to be permanent. Having arsed around with VPNs for 20 years without much success, I can now enjoy unfettered access to all commentaries. Thank you BEEB.

I can't find any information about this that might explain the change. Does anyone know?
