With the World Cup not so far away now, it was confirmed on Thursday that FIFA have approved 26-man squads, as was the case at Euro 2020, for the World Cup rather than the usual 23. All 26 players will be included in a matchday squad, a change from what happened at the Euros when matchday squads remained at 23 players and three subsequently missed out on selection.

They've done well to make this a story about Spurs.

And by that I mean they haven't done well.

Maybe Dier will be included in the squad. I rather he wasn't. He's done his bit for his country and wasn't really thanked for it.
Winks always did well for England - with regular game time at Palace/everton, maybe he could make a comeback. He's a lot better than we think he is. Certainly good enough for England.

Just means Southgate can take about 5 right backs and thats not even being dramatic.
I read the headline and thought “where’s he going to find 3 more English right backs”.
